    摘要: An improved connector terminal has a profile which facilitates insertion into engagement holes on a circuit board and increases resistance to deformation. The terminals may be part of an assembly which includes a series of terminals arranged in a spaced-apart array. Each has a solder tail portion defined by a straight edge (11) proximate to the centerline (9) and a slanted edge (12) which diagonally extends from the other side and which traverses the centerline (9) to intersect with the straight edge (11) to thereby form an acute angle at the tip (E) of the terminal near the centerline (9) to provide comparable positioning allowances on the opposite sides of the centerline (9) to facilitate mounting of the terminals on a circuit board. The acute angle point is advantageous to the optical measurement of terminal intervals for the quality control.

    摘要: A circuit board assembly system for manufacturing a prototype printed circuit board having a matrix formed in it. A base board having a connection matrix that matches the matrix of the printed circuit board is hinged to a frame having tracks for receiving the printed circuit board, so that the printed circuit board is locatable in a fixed position in relation to the printed circuit board with their respective matrices matching. Component leads may be inserted into the connection matrix through the printed circuit board to form a circuit, which may be tested. The base board may be pivoted away from the printed circuit board to allow the leads to be soldered. The printed circuit board may then be removed from the base board. A cover that is latchable onto the printed circuit board may be used to prevent components from being accidentally removed from the printed circuit board.

    摘要: A method for inserting a multilead component (30) into a printed wiring board (31) (PWB), wherein the component has its leads (32, 33) arranged in two or more rows and the PWB (31) has two or more rows of apertures (36, 37) arranged in a pattern corresponding to that of the leads of the component. The method comprises spreading the lead rows of the component (30) further apart than the aperture rows of the PWB (31); placing the component on the PWB (31) and applying a downward insertion force (41) thereon; vibrating the component (30) and the PWB (31) relative to each other; and moving the lead rows toward the aperture rows thereby inserting each lead in its corresponding aperture in the PWB.

    摘要: A method for reducing the fitting thrust of golden finger (101,103) and a PCB (100). The method and the PCB (100) solve the problem of excessive inserting force of the golden finger (101,103) of the prior art, through modifying the shape of the edge of the PCB (100), the edge of the PCB open reeds of a connector (201, 203) at different time. The PCB (100) has at least one concave edge section or at least one convex edge section or at least one tilt edge section, and the edge can further be beveled. The bonding pads of the golden finger can be assorted, pin ends of a part of golden fingers (101, 103) can be partially removed or these golden fingers can be completely removed, the pin ends of a part of golden fingers (101,103) can be preserved. Through the method, the purpose of reducing the fitting thrust upon inserting the PCB (100) into the connector can be achieved.
