    摘要: A sealable film is disclosed comprising (i) a base layer comprising polypropylene and a hydrocarbon resin and (ii) at least one top layer comprising (a) an ethylene/propylene copolymer having an ethylene content of not more than about 10% by weight, (b) a propylene/1-butene copolymer, (c) a propylene/ethylene/alpha-olefin terpolymer, or (d) a blend of two or more of (a), (b) and (c), wherein at least one of said base layer and said at least one top layer contains an anti-blocking agent or lubricant and wherein the top layer contains a hydrocarbon resin. The film possesses improved barrier properties with respect to permeability to water vapor and oxygen, and which at the same time exhibits favorable slip properties and low shrink values.

    摘要: A transparent, coextruded, multilayer polyolefin film which can be heat-sealed at low temperatures and comprises a base layer and at least one top layer applied on one side. The multilayer film has, at 120.degree. C., a longitudinal shrinkage of greater than about 10%, preferably from about 15% to about 35%, and a transverse shrinkage of greater than about 10%, preferably from about 15% to about 35%. The multilayer film has, at 90.degree. C., a longitudinal shrinkage of at most about 10%, preferably from about 3% to about 8%, and a transverse shrinkage of at most about 10%, preferably from about 2% to about 8%. The top layers have a minimum sealing temperature of at most about 124.degree. C., preferably from about 75.degree. C. to about 110.degree. C. The film is useful as a packaging film.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a transparent, coextruded, multi-layer polyolefin film which is heat-sealable on both sides and has a base layer which comprises a peroxidically degraded polypropylene polymer and top layers which comprise heat-sealable ethylene-propylene polymers. The multi-layer film is characterized by high shrinkability in the longitudinal and transverse directions, in combination with excellent optical properties and good runability on high-speed wrapping machines and is especially useful as a packaging or wrapping film. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of a film of this kind and to its use.

    摘要: The invention relates to biaxially orientated, co-extruded polyester films, which have at least one base layer that contains a thermoplastic polyester, preferably polyethylene terephthalate and approx. 2 to 60 wt.-% of a cycloolefin copolymer that is preferably composed of norbornene and ethylene units and which have at least one cover layer that is devoid of a COC and which optionally have additional cover or intermediate layers and can contain conventional additives such as stabilisers and anti-blocking agents. Said films are characterized in particular by a degree of whiteness>70%, an opacity>55% and a gloss, (at least on one side)>100 and are therefore suitable for numerous industrial applications. During the production of the films in accordance with the co-extrusion process, up to 70 wt.-% of reclaimed product can be used, without having a noticeable negative effect on the physical properties of the film.

    摘要: The present application relates to a white, biaxially oriented, flame-retardant polyester film with at least one base layer which comprises, based on the weight of the base layer, from 2 to 60% by weight of a cycloolefin copolymer (COC), where the glass transition temperature of the COC is within the range from 70 to 270° C. The film also comprises from 0.5 to 30% by weight of flame retardant, based on the weight of the layer comprising the flame retardant.
