摘要: A logic test having less over-head for testing a logic circuit in a chip is implemented by constituting a test circuit in the chip without introducing a novel device process of FPGA. A memory of a self-configuration type is provided in the chip and a test circuit is constituted in the memory of a self-configuration type or an ordinary memory through a tester HDL, thereby testing other memories and logic circuits in the chip. The test circuit is reconstituted such that the memory used in the structure of the test circuit can be operated as an ordinary memory.

摘要: Circuit for preventing overcharge and overdischarge of secondary batteries is disclosed. Overcharge detecting comparators COMP2 and COMP4 each having a hysteresis circuit 1 are connected between positive and negative electrodes of series-connected secondary batteries Abat and Bbat, and overdischarge detecting comparators COMP1 and COMP3 each having a hysteresis circuit 2 are connected also between the above electrodes. Transistors T1, T2 and a resistor R are connected between the batteries for overflow of overcharge and balance of overdischarge. Upon detection of any overcharge by the comparator COMP2 or COMP4, the charge current is interrupted by a transistor T6, and simultaneously the overcharge overflow is discharged by the hysteresis circuit until the battery voltage is lowered to the hysteresis voltage. And after the discharge, the transistor T6 is turned on to resume recharging the batteries. Meanwhile, upon detection of any overdischarge by the comparator COMP1 or COMP3, the discharge current is interrupted by a transistor T5. Thus the overcharge and the overdischarge can be balanced by the hysteresis circuits 1 and 2 respectively.

摘要: There are provided novel and optically active 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxin-4-ones which are useful as starting materials for physiologically active compounds, functional materials or the like. Provided are optically active 5,6-epoxyhexanoic acid esters and novel optically active 6-substituted tetrahydropyran-2-one derivatives. That is, optically active 6-chloromethyltetrahydropyran-2-one can be synthesized by lactonizing optically active 2,2-dimethyl-6-(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl)-1,3-dioxin-4-one to form optically active 6-chloromethyltetrahydropyran-2,4-dione; reacting the thus formed compound with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst to obtain optically active 6-chloromethyl-4-hydroxytetrahydropyran-2-one; subjecting this compound to a dehydration reaction, thereby obtaining optically active 6-chloromethyldihydropyran-2-one; reacting this compound with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst to form optically active 6-chloromethyltetrahydropyran-2-one; and then treating this compound under basic conditions to prepare an optically active 5,6-epoxyhexanoic acid ester represented by the formula (6) ##STR1## (wherein the symbol * represents an asymmetric carbon atom, and R is a methyl group or an ethyl group).

摘要: A positioning apparatus for positioning an arm of an industrial robot comprises a frame member connected to the robot arm and being movably supported by a frame-supporting member. The frame-supporting member is movably mounted within an upstanding hollow sleeve of a stationary base, and a bearing is formed between an outer peripheral surface portion of the frame-supporting member and an inner peripheral surface portion of the base hollow sleeve portion for slidably mounting the frame-supporting member to undergo linear and angular sliding movements relative to the base hollow sleeve portion. A rotary motor effects angular driving movement of the frame-supporting member, and a linear motor effects linear movement of the frame-supporting member to thereby accurately position the robot arm. By such a construction, the frame-supporting member is mounted for angular and linear sliding movements relative to the base hollow sleeve portion by a single bearing.

摘要: When a vertical acceleration is applied to a vehicle, the foot of a vehicle operator placed on the accelerator pedal may apply an unintended force to the accelerator pedal owing to the shock of such accelerations and vibrations and/or the inertia force of the vehicle operator's foot applied to the accelerator pedal, and this may cause an inadvertent depressing or releasing of the accelerator pedal. To overcome this problem, an engine control unit corrects the output signal of an accelerator pedal that governs the output of the engine according to the detected vertical acceleration of the vehicle so that the unintended change in the output of the engine which is caused by an external force applied to the accelerator pedal and may cause an unintended acceleration or deceleration of the engine can be canceled.

摘要: A display control apparatus and a control method for controlling display of a display unit are provided. The display control apparatus detects an orientation of the display unit and controls a display of the display unit in accordance with the detected orientation of the display unit. The screen of the display unit is divided into a first display area, where a display layout is changed in accordance with the orientation of the display unit, and a second display area where a display layout is not changed in accordance with the orientation of the display unit. The display control unit makes the second display area display a first window which changes in accordance with a function to be executed, and makes the first display area display a second window which does not change in accordance with a function to be executed.
