Abstract: A watch component includes an austenized ferritic stainless steel, the austenized ferritic stainless steel including a first layer including a ferrite phase, and a second layer including an austenized phase formed of a nitrogen solid solution of the ferrite phase. An average particle size of ferrite crystal grains constituting the ferrite phase is 300 μm or greater, and an average particle size of austenitic crystal grains constituting the austenized phase is 150 μm or smaller.

Abstract: An aspect of the present invention relates to a high strength steel sheet having an excellent high-temperature elongation characteristic, wherein the sheet comprises, by weight %, 0.4-0.9% of C, 0.01-1.5% of Cr, 0.03% or less (exclusive of 0%) of P, 0.01% or less (exclusive of 0%) of S, 0.01% or less (exclusive of 0%) of N, 0.01% or less (exclusive of 0%) of sol. Al, and a balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, and comprises at least one among 2.1% or less (exclusive of 0%) of Mn and 1.6% or less (exclusive of 0%) of Si; the sheet has a microcrystalline structure including pearlite having an area fraction of 80% or more and ferrite having an area fraction of 20% or less; and the pearlite includes cementite having a major axis length of 200 nm or shorter.

The high-strength steel sheet has a chemical composition containing, by mass %, C: 0.20% or more and 0.40% or less, Si: 0.5% or more and 2.5% or less, Mn: more than 2.4% and 5.0% or less, P: 0.1% or less, S: 0.01% or less, Al: 0.01% or more and 0.5% or less, N: 0.010% or less, and Fe and inevitable impurities. A microstructure of the steel sheet includes, in terms of area fraction with respect to the whole steel sheet microstructure, lower bainite in an amount of 40% or more and less than 85%, martensite including tempered martensite in an amount of 5% or more and less than 40%, retained austenite in an amount of 10% or more and 30% or less, and polygonal ferrite in an amount of 10% or less (including 0%).

The steel sheet has a structure consisting of ferrite, at most 10% of austenite, and precipitates comprising eutectic precipitates of TiB2, the volume fraction of TiB2 precipitates with respect to the whole structure being of at least 9%, the proportion of TiB2 precipitates having a surface area lower than 8 μm2 being of at least 96%.

Abstract: A galvanized steel sheet includes: a steel sheet having a chemical composition satisfying an equivalent carbon content Ceq of 0.35% or more and less than 0.60%, and a specified steel microstructure; and a galvanized layer on a surface of the steel sheet. The retained austenite has a solute C content of 0.6% or more by mass, and retained austenite grains with an aspect ratio of less than 2.0 constitute 50% or more of all retained austenite grains. In 90-degree bending at a curvature radius/thickness ratio of 4.2 in a rolling (L) direction with respect to an axis extending in a width (C) direction, an L cross section in a 0 to 50 μm region from a surface of the steel sheet on a compression side has a number density of voids of 1000/mm2 or less, and the galvanized steel sheet has a tensile strength of 590 MPa or more.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present disclosure is an ultrahigh-strength dual-phase steel. The matrix structure of the ultrahigh-strength dual-phase steel is ferrite and martensite, wherein the ferrite and the martensite are evenly distributed in an island shape. The ultrahigh-strength dual-phase steel contains the following chemical elements in percentage by mass: 0.12-0.2% of C, 0.5-1.0% of Si, 2.5-3.0% of Mn, 0.02-0.05% of Al, 0.02-0.05% of Nb, 0.02-0.05% of Ti, and 0.001-0.003% of B. Further disclosed in the present disclosure is a manufacturing method for the ultrahigh-strength dual-phase steel, comprising the steps of smelting and continuous casting, hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing, tempering, and leveling. The ultrahigh-strength dual-phase steel in the present disclosure has not only good mechanical properties but also excellent delayed cracking resistance and low initial hydrogen content, and can be suitable for manufacturing of vehicle safety structural parts.

Abstract: The disclosed martensitic stainless steel is defined in its composition is by specified ranges of weight percentages of C; Mn; Si; ≤Mn+Si; ≤S; 10,000×Mn×S; P; Cr, with [Cr−10.3−80*(C+N)2]≤(Mn+Ni); Ni; Mo; Mo+2W; Cu; Ti; V; Zr; Al; O; Ta; Nb; (Nb+Ta)/(C+N); Nb; N; Co; Cu+Co; Cu+Co+Ni; B; rare earths+Y; Ca; the remainder being iron and impurities resulting from processing. Its microstructure includes at least 75% martensite, at most 20% ferrite and at most 0.5% carbides, the size of the ferrite grains being between 4 and 80 μm, preferably between 5 and 40 μm. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing such steel.
