    摘要: An exhaust mechanism includes: an exhaust pipe configured to circulate exhaust gas from an engine; a first outer pipe disposed along the exhaust pipe on an outer periphery of the exhaust pipe; a second outer pipe disposed along the first outer pipe on an outer periphery of the first outer pipe; a pair of intermediate members disposed on the outer periphery of the exhaust pipe, fixed to respective inner peripheral surfaces of a first end portion and a second end portion of the first outer pipe, and being lower in thermal conductivity than the exhaust pipe. A vacuum layer is provided between the first outer pipe and the second outer pipe. At least one of the intermediate members is configured to slide in an axial direction of the exhaust pipe.

The coating material includes a second junction layer made of CrN or Ti(C)N, a support layer made of TiAlN/CrN disposed on a surface of the second junction layer, and a functional layer made of TiAlN/CrSiN or TiAlN/CrSiCN disposed on a surface of the support layer. The coating material improves abrasion resistance and seizure resistance of the parts of the engine exhaust system.

    摘要: An emission reduction device which may be removably affixed to a diesel engine's exhaust system. The device comprises an outer casing which may be divided into a lower portion and an upper portion, the lower portion of which is removably attachable to the exhaust system of a diesel engine; a carcass for holding a bobbin wherein the carcass is attached to the lower portion of the outer casing at the point where the exhaust enters the outer casing and the carcass has a beveled opening in a diagonal line in its proximal part and a bobbin positioned in its distal part; one or more fibrous blanket cylinders; and a guide for arranging and securing the one or more fibrous blanket cylinders within the outer casing. The fibrous blanket cylinders may be wrapped in a wire mesh. In an alternative embodiment, a second fibrous blanket formed into a cone with the larger diameter of the cone positioned proximally may be removably inserted in the carcass.

    摘要: An exhaust system for use in combination with a combustion engine. The exhaust system includes a silencer having an outer casing that defines an interior and an internal construction within the interior and co-extruded with the outer casing so that the outer casing and the internal construction constitute a one-piece extrusion. The outer casing has a length in a longitudinal direction and a substantially uniform cross-section in a transverse direction. The internal construction has at least one wall that extends the length of the outer casing to define with the outer casing at least two longitudinal chambers within the interior of the outer casing. The wall has a deformed portion and passages through the deformed portion so that the silencer has a path through which gas flows from a first of the two longitudinal chambers and through the passages into the second longitudinal chamber, resulting in noise reduction for the combustion engine.
