    Abstract: A transformer and a DC-DC converter for on-board charger using the same are provided. The transformer includes a magnetic core, a winding region, a primary coil and a secondary coil. The magnetic core includes two cover plates and a winding column disposed between the two cover plates. The winding region is disposed on the winding column and includes a plurality of winding units. The primary coil is wound in a part of the winding units to form a primary winding of the transformer. The secondary coil is wound in the other part of the winding units to form a secondary winding of the transformer. The primary and secondary coils are at least partially wound alternately in part of the plurality of winding units, and a number of winding layers along an axial direction of the winding column in each winding unit is less than or equal to two.

    Abstract: A welding current source for providing a welding current and a welding voltage at an output in order to carry out an arc welding process includes an input-side rectifier, an inverter, which is operated with a switching frequency, a transformer having a primary winding and at least two secondary windings, at least two rectifiers arranged between the secondary windings and the output, and at least one capacitor and one load resistor at the output. At least one current-limiting reactor is arranged on the second secondary winding and the load resistor for discharging the capacitor, which can be charged by the current-limiting reactor, the current-limiting reactor, and the capacitor are dimensioned in such a way that the maximum value of the no-load voltage at the output is greater than the voltage corresponding to the transmission ratio of the primary winding to the secondary winding of the transformer.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes first and second capacitors, a case, a coil, and first to fourth conductive terminals. The first capacitor includes first and second terminal electrodes. The second capacitor includes third and fourth terminal electrodes. The case includes an accommodation recess for accommodating the first and second capacitors. The coil is separated from the first and second capacitors by a part of the case and disposed outside the accommodation recess. The first terminal is connected to the first electrode and partly disposed on a mounting-side bottom surface of the case. The second terminal is connected to one end of the coil and the second electrode and partly disposed on the surface. The third terminal is connected to the other end of the coil and the third electrode and partly disposed on the surface. The fourth terminal is connected to the fourth electrode and partly disposed on the surface.
