摘要: A composite fabric article includes multi-filament, interlaced yarns forming a knit construction. The fabric article has an inner surface and an outer surface where the inner surface has at least one region of raised fibers or fleece formed thereupon, and the outer surface has an area upon which a non-continuous coating of discrete coating segments of coating material is applied to bind individual yarn fibers together in bound groupings and to enhance abrasion resistance of the outer surface.

摘要: The present invention provides an electromagnetic wave shielding material including a three dimensionally knitted base material and a conductive metal layer formed on the three dimensionally knitted base material, which shielding material is characterized in that it comprises: a heat-fusing thread used at at least a portion of the three dimensionally knitted base material; and a portion in which connection thread is not present, wherein the amount of cutting debris generated at the time of cutting is decreased. According to the present invention, an electromagnetic wave shielding material, which is used for an electromagnetic wave shielding gasket for shielding electromagnetic wave, exhibits good workability if the thickness of the product is relatively thin, suppresses the metal separation and reduces the amount of cutting debris generated at the time of cutting, is obtained.

摘要: Cut resistant, abrasion resistant and electrically conductive yarns (1) are formed in torque-free form from stainless steel and other metallic yarns (2) served with or formed into composite twists with non-metallic yarns and fibers (4) and (5). The metallic yarn (2) is made up of at least about 60 ends, and up to as many as about 300 ends, of metal fibers (3) having a diameter of from about 2 to about 25 &mgr;m. The absence of torque permits facile knitting into protective garments, such as cut resistant, abrasion resistant and/or electrically conductive gloves (10), or yarns which are as much as 85 to 90% by weight metallic fiber. When knit into gloves, added protection may be provided from puncture injuries if the palm (12), finger stalls (14) and thumb stall (16) are coated or impregnated with an elastomer or the like.

摘要: A process is provided for manufacturing a high quality cloth having a width of 150 cm or any width in which likelihood of occurrence of defects such as color shading, rub marks, wrinkles and creases due to fabric dyeing method is eliminated and color fastness is enhanced. A process for manufacturing a woven or knit fabric using yarn dyed silk comprises the steps of dyeing (step 3) sericin which covers the periphery of silk fibers and fibroin which is located inside thereof into the same color; making yarn dyed silk (step 4, 5) by doubling and twisting the dyed silk fibers; making a cloth (step 6) by weaving or knitting the yarn dyed silk swelling (step 7) the yarn, tyed silk which constitutes the cloth by dipping the cloth into hot water in a tub; and decomposing (step 8) sericin of the yarn dyed silk of the cloth with an enzyme in hot water in a tub.
