A printed circuit board (PCB) includes a substrate having a first group of at least two via holes and a second group of at least two via holes formed therein, a first pad set of terminal pads and a second pad set of terminal pads formed on the substrate, and a first group of conductive connection members and a second group of conductive connection members formed in the substrate. The first group of the via holes are surrounded by the first pad set of the terminal pads and the second group of the via holes are surrounded by the second pad set of the terminal pads. The first and the second groups of conductive connection members fill up the first and second groups of the via holes. The first group of the conductive connection members are connected to the first pad set of the terminal pads and the second group of the conductive connection members are connected to the second pad set of the terminal pads.

The inventive indene derivatives of formula (I) are capable of selectively modulating the activities of peroxisome proliferator activated receptors (PPARs), causing no adverse side effects, and thus, they are useful for the treatment and prevention of disorders modulated by PPARs, i.e., metabolic syndromes such as diabetes, obesity, arteriosclerosis, hyperlipidemia, hyperinsulinism and hypertension, inflammatory diseases such as osteoporosis, liver cirrhosis and asthma, and cancer.

Disclosed herein is a rigid flexible PCB having openings. The rigid flexible PCB includes a flexible section with flexibility and rigid sections being formed at the edges of the flexible section with mechanical stiffness. The flexible section comprises a flexible plane. The flexible plane comprises a base insulating layer; a wire conducting layer being adhered to one of the top side and the bottom side of the base insulating layer; and a plane conducting layer adhered to the other of the top side and the bottom side of the base insulating layer. The plane conducting layer has a plurality of openings being formed as a mesh structure. According to the rigid flexible PCB of the invention, the flexibility of the flexible section and the characteristic impedance of signal wire traces may be improved.

A memory system includes a memory controller, a transmission bus, a power divider, a first memory chip, and a second memory chip. The transmission bus is coupled from the memory controller to a first node of the power divider for transferring signals. The first node of the power divider is coupled to a second node of the power divider via a first line, and the first node is also coupled to a third node of the power divider via a second line. The first memory chip is coupled to the second node via a first branch bus and the second memory chip is coupled to the third node via a second branch bus. Accordingly, reflected wave due to an impedance mismatching can be reduced to enhance the signal integrity.

Disclosed is a combination hood microwave oven, by which a room environment is maintained more pleasant and fresh by proving a microwave oven with an air curtain generating unit for preventing polluted air, which includes hot, smelling, or humid air produced from an oven range on cooking, from diffusing into a room. The present invention includes a cabinet disposed over an oven range, a cooking room having a predetermined cavity within the cabinet for cooking using an electromagnetic wave generated from a magnetron, a hood unit installed within the cabinet to discharge polluted air produced from the oven range on cooking, and an air curtain generating unit installed at a bottom side of the cabinet to prevent the polluted air from diffusing into a room.

An apparatus and method are disclosed for visualizing an automatic laser shutdown (ALS) state. An operator is informed of the ALS state by transmitting a visible light with weak power, to an optical fiber, that effuses from the cut position of the optical fiber. The operator recognizes the cut position of the optical fiber by comparing the power of the ALS visible light reflected from the cut surface of the optical fiber and that of the transmitting ALS visible light, and thus restores the cut optical fiber at the recognized position.
