    Abstract: An improved structure tape rule hook that provides a hook of the tape rule which has an attractive component. The hook is a planar component bent vertically to thereby form a hook mounting element at its upper extent, and disposed on the hook mounting element are a plurality of elongated round holes and, furthermore, the other side is bent downward vertically to form a hook measuring element. The hook measuring element has a containment recess, which is die extruded, enabling the embedding of the attractive component in order to fix it onto the hook measuring element. As such when taking measurements the attractive component of the tape rule increases user convenience, thereby enhancing the practical value of the tape rule provided by the improved structure tape rule hook of the invention herein.

    Abstract: A system air fans integrated control apparatus for a computer system which has a plurality of heat sources and a plurality of air fans corresponding to the heat sources includes a plurality of detection units to detect the heat sources and output a plurality of temperature alteration parameter signals, a signal integration and determination circuit to receive and interpret the temperature alteration parameter signals to determine a rotation speed regulation signal, and an air fan driving circuit which is linked to the signal integration and determination circuit and an external driving power source. Upon receiving the rotation speed regulation signal the driving power of the external driving power source to the air fans is regulated synchronously. Thereby multiple heat sources are detected at the same time and multiple air fans are integrated to perform heat dissipating to reduce accumulating heat in the system environment.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer program apparatus, implementing techniques for publishing, subscribing to, or playing live appliances. A live appliance includes a current virtual machine image. In publishing, a proxy file of a live appliance file type is provided to the publisher. The type is mapped to a live appliance player; so that when a proxy file is opened, the current virtual machine image is run. The player automatically binds a writeable file system external to the virtual machine image to the image to provide file storage that is accessible from within the virtual machine image and from a host operating system. The player also creates a subscription to the live appliance on the host computer if one does not exist when the proxy file is run. With the subscription, the player runs the then-current virtual machine image whenever the live appliance is run.

    Abstract: A method for acquiring document images with a paper feed scanner. The paper feed scanner includes a scanning module for scanning a document at a scanning position, a motor for driving the document, and a memory for storing image data.
