摘要: A method of producing a porous thin-film-deposition substrate, which has the steps of: placing onto a substrate that has an electrostatic charge on its surface, fine particles with a surface electrostatic charge opposite to the electrostatic charge of the substrate surface, depositing a thin film on the fine-particle-placed substrate, and then removing the fine particles to form fine pores in the thin film; further, a method of producing an electron emitting element, which has the steps of: adding a catalyst metal on a substrate, placing fine particles onto the catalyst-added substrate, depositing a thin film on the fine-particle-placed substrate, then removing the fine particles to form fine pores in the film, and growing needle-shaped conductors on the catalyst metal that is exposed on a bottom face of the fine pore.

摘要: An analog waveform is sampled and converted into a digital form corresponding to the number of picture elements in the direction of main scanning of a raster scanning type display unit. The digital value thus obtained is stored in a memory which has the same number of addresses as the above-mentioned number picture elements. All memory locations are sequentially read out, for each main scan of the display unit. The data A.sub.1 contained in each location is compared to the number of the current scanning line B.sub.1 of the display unit. When the data read out, A.sub.1, equals the number, B.sub.1, a video signal is applied to the display unit, resulting in a bright spot being displayed on the display surface of the display unit. When a waveform video signal is formed, corresponding to the states of A=B or A>B, the area under the waveform is displayed by dots. The waveform display apparatus includes an apparatus for obtaining a digital value A' read from the memory at an address immediately preceding the address from which the digital value A is read out, comparing apparatus for detecting the states of A=B, A>B and A'>B, and apparatus for detecting non-coincidence between A>B and A'>B. When the video signal is formed using the A=B states, and the non-coincidence between A>B and A'>B, dots displaying a waveform are interpolated by additional dots to display the waveform as a continuous line.

摘要: The invention involves to improvements in heat sink. Required numbers of corrugated fins and separator sheets are alternately stacked together with side bars applied to the opposite edges of each corrugated fin, and all the parts are brazed together.Large thickness side bars are used for either one side or both sides, and the edges of the separator sheets and outer sides of the side bars are aligned, and a heat source is mounted on the outer surfaces of side bars. In this way, a heat sink of a desired sides can be assemble, and also the heat radiator performance can be improved.

摘要: A test composition for evaluating dental caries activity, which comprise a specific amount of a saccharide (e.g. sucrose, glucose and fructose) and a pH indicator (e.g. resazurin, lacmoid, methyl red and alizarin) in water or an aqueous alcohol solution, said composition being regulated to a pH range of 6.5 to 7.0 with an alkali (e.g. sodium hydroxide) and an acid (e.g. acetic acid, tartaric acid or lactic acid). By using this test composition, a test for evaluation dental caries activity can be done within a very short period of time (e.g. about 30 minutes) by any person without requesting any specific training.
