The compositions are particularly useful for ply-bonding multi-ply absorbent sheet when the plies are treated with debonder.

摘要： There is described a substrate (S) for security documents, such as banknotes, comprising one or more paper layers (11, 12) and a polymer layer (20) which is made to adhere to a side of at least one of the paper layers (11, 12), which polymer layer (20) is substantially transparent in at least one region of the substrate (S) which is not covered by the paper layer or layers (11, 12) so as to form a substantially transparent window (W) in the substrate (S) which is formed and closed by the polymer layer (20). The polymer layer (20) exhibits in the region of the window (W) a thickness (T) which is greater than a thickness (t) of the polymer layer (20) outside of the region of the window (W). The thickness (T) of the polymer layer (20) in the region of the window (W) is substantially equal to the added thickness of the paper layer or layers (11, 12) and of the polymer layer (20) outside of the region of the window (W) so that the substrate (S) exhibits a substantially uniform and constant thickness (T). The substrate (S) further comprises a micro-optical structure (30), in particular a lens structure, which is disposed in the region of the window (W) on at least one side of the polymer layer (20).

摘要： A multi-ply flushable wipe includes a ply having first and second exterior layers and a middle layer disposed therebetween. Each of the exterior layers includes at least 50% by weight natural fibers. When foam-formed, the middle layer includes at least 25% by weight natural fibers. In embodiments, the middle layer may include at least 75% by weight natural fibers. The middle layer also includes synthetic fibers that have a length within the range of 1 mm and 20 mm. The wipe may have a length weight weighted average fiber length of less than 4 mm and a wet CD strength of greater than 20 N/m. Each ply of the wipe may be formed by wetlaying the first and second exterior layers and a foam formed middle layer to form a web, imprinting the web with a structured fabric, and drying the web. The plies are then attached using a binder.

摘要： Wiping products, such as facial tissues, contain an interior temperature change composition and an exterior hydrophilic lotion composition that can provide a cooling sensation when contacted with the skin of a user. The temperature change composition, for instance, can contain one or more phase change agents that undergo a phase change at slightly elevated temperatures. The phase change agents, in one embodiment, can have a relatively high heat of fusion. When undergoing a phase change, the phase change agents absorb heat and thereby provide a cooling feeling to the skin of a user. The hydrophilic lotion composition may contain a carrier and a thermo-reversible gelling agent. The hydrophilic lotion composition maintains the temperature change composition within the tissue and helps to prevent skin irritation.
