摘要: A gearing system comprises a first rotational input, a second rotational input and a rotational output. The first rotational input and second rotational input may transmit a rotation to the rotational output, wherein one of the first rotational input and second rotational input is connected to the rotational output through a one way clutch, and wherein the other of the first rotational input and second rotational input is connected to the rotational output through an overrunning clutch, wherein said one way clutch and said overrunning clutch are rotationally coupled. The gearing system may be used in electric bicycles, but may also be used in other dual propulsion vehicles such as hybrid cars.

摘要: A composition that can be used for abrasive processing is disclosed. The composition includes an organic bond material, an abrasive material dispersed in the organic bond material, and a plurality of microfibers uniformly dispersed in the organic bond material. The microfibers are individual filaments having an average length of less than about 1000 μm. Abrasive articles made with the composition exhibit improved strength and impact resistance relative to non-reinforced abrasive tools, and improved wheel wear rate and G-ratio relative to conventional reinforced tools. Active fillers that interact with microfibers may be used to further abrasive process benefits.

摘要: An acoustic damping article includes a substrate, wherein the substrate has a surface area S. The acoustic composition further includes a polymer resin. The polymer resin coats partially the surface area with a set of areas. The ratio of the coated areas over the surface area S is less than 1 and the polymer resin coverage is not greater than about 500 g/m2. Embodiments of the present disclosure include an acoustic damping article including a release liner; and an acoustic damping composition disposed on the release liner. The acoustic damping composition partially coats the release liner, and the acoustic damping composition has a Patterned Interlayer Stiffness of at least about 1 GN/m3.

摘要: Disclosed is a blade element of a turbomachine, in particular of a gas turbine, which comprises a fastening element (10) with which the blade element is arranged in a receptacle (11) of the turbomachine. In the region of the fastening element, the blade element has a core region (18) and an envelope region (19) which at least partially envelops the core region. The core region is formed from a blade base material which is more brittle than the envelope material of the envelope region, and the envelope region is formed by a coating. The envelope material is a blade base material which has been modified to achieve a higher ductility or is a pseudoelastic or superelastic material.
