    摘要: A transgenic mouse having somatic and germ cells in which at least one allele of an endogenous interleukin-1.beta. converting enzyme (ICE) gene is functionally disrupted is provided. The mouse may be heterozygous or, more preferably, homozygous for the ICE gene disruption. In homozygous mice, secretion of mature interleukin-1.beta. and interleukin-1.alpha. is substantially reduced relative to non-mutant mice. The mice of the invention can be used as positive controls to evaluate the efficacy of ICE inhibitors and to identify disease conditions that can be treated with ICE inhibitors. A transgenic mouse having functionally disrupted endogenous ICE genes but which has been reconstituted with a human ICE gene is also provided. This mouse can be used to identify agents that inhibit human ICE in vivo. Nucleic acid constructs for functionally disrupting an endogenous ICE gene in a host cell, recombinant vectors including the nucleic acid construct, and host cells into which the nucleic acid construct has been introduced are also encompassed by the invention.

In addition, a bypass capacitance circuit is placed in parallel with the ballast resistance again in integrated form. The silicon BJT is flip-chip mounted on a heterolithic microwave integrated circuit glass substrate having the integrated bypass capacitor circuit fabricated directly thereon. This bypass capacitor circuit is electrically in contact with the emitter fingers of the bipolar junction transistor.

    摘要: A method for dynamically changing the polling process of a single microprocessor within a modem. An additional step is added into the main polling loop that checks the amount of data in the transmit and receive buffers. If one buffer is empty, additional polling cycles are performed to service the other buffer. The number of additional cycles is dependent on how full the buffer is. If both buffers contain data, no change is made in the polling process and both are serviced with equal priority.

    摘要: Disclosed is a sealing cover, which is suitable for sealing an opening of a container, comprising an extrusion lid and a flexible sealing ring, wherein the container has an opening, the extrusion lid comprises an outer cover, an inner shield cover, a screw rod and a knob, the outer cover covers the opening, and the inner shield cover is arranged in the opening and is located under the outer cover; the screw rod movably penetrates the outer cover, the lower end of the screw rod is fixedly connected to the inner shield cover, and the upper end of the screw rod is connected in a threaded manner to the knob; and the flexible sealing ring is sheathed on the screw rod and is located between the outer cover and the inner shield cover, and when the knob is rotated, the screw rod drives the inner shield cover to move upwards and squeezes the flexible sealing ring to force the flexible sealing ring to be attached to an inner circumferential wall of the opening after expansion to form a seal. The sealing cover provided by the present invention can seal the opening of a container, and the sealing cover has a simple structure, is convenient to use, and has a good sealing effect.
