    摘要: Secondary batteries and capacitors have a high electromotive force together with a high cyclic property and are capable of fast charging and discharging, using a polymeric compound having a high stability and high reactivity in an acidic ambient, as an electrode active material. The secondary batteries and capacitors include an indole polymeric compound as an electrode active material. The polymeric compound uses a proton as a charge carrier and has a constituent represented by general formula (1): wherein each R denotes a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, a sulfonic group, a sulfuric acid group, a nitro group, a cyano group, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxyl group, an amino group, an alkylthio group and an arylthio group, which may be the same or different from each other, and at least one R is a substituent other than a hydrogen atom.

    摘要: A system having at least one information processing apparatus such as a word processor and a printing apparatus as a print server for printing print data which is given from the information processing apparatus using print programs. When the print data which the information processing apparatus itself has is printed by the printing apparatus, the information processing apparatus transfers a print program suitable to print the print data to the printing apparatus, so that the printing apparatus prints the print data by using the print program transferred. In the case where a plurality of data are stored in a memory apparatus in the print server, the data is outputted to the printing apparatus in accordance with a predetermined order. However, when the print server receives an output request of the data from the information processing apparatus from the information processing apparatus, in the case where there is no data which is being outputted to the printing apparatus or whose output is waited, the output requested data is supplied to the printing apparatus without being stored into the memory device.

    摘要: A method of help-information control for displaying help information on a display unit of an information processing system executing a plurality of application programs. A status management table for storing the executing status of application programs is provided as common to these programs. During execution of a given application program, the contents of the status information table are updated successively in accordance with the executing status. Whenever an operator makes a help request, the contents of the status management table in effect at that point in time are referenced. The table is searched for the help information corresponding to the request. When found and retrieved, the information is displayed. The search is performed using a program identifier, a message identifier, and a help message searching table that includes the position information containing the corresponding help data. Each application program is equipped with a control data part that makes it possible to reference help data of other application programs.

    摘要: A hot flaw detector is equipped with a sensor holding member that has a circular opening through which the material to be inspected will pass and that holds a flaw detecting sensor. Provision is made of an annular cooling liquid injection port that is open at an end of the sensor holding member adjacent to the inner peripheral wall of the circular opening, and provision is further made of an annular cooling liquid introduction port that is open at the other end of the sensor holding member adjacent to the inner peripheral wall of the circular opening. The cooling liquid is injected from the annular cooling liquid injection port, and forms a liquid film along the inner peripheral wall of the circular opening, and is recovered through the annular cooling liquid introduction port. The inner peripheral wall of the sensor holding member is effectively cooled by the liquid film which drips little onto the material to be inspected.
