    摘要: One matrix board aggregate accommodating two matrix boards is made one unit of a switch. Three of the matrix board aggregates are vertically located, groups of such three vertically-located matrix board aggregates are laterally located and robots are provided between the matrix board aggregates. By providing a number of robots, the switch operation speeds up. The robots are controlled by a control circuit/power supply RMC/POW. I/O cables for connecting an MDF apparatus to an exchange or to lines are provided at the back. In a three-stage switching configuration, by devising the location of primary, secondary and tertiary switches, interconnection between matrix board aggregates can be made using BWBs made of a printed wiring board.

    摘要: A rotation detecting device which issues a plurality of code signals by a simple configuration so as to detect the rotational angle position and the direction of rotation of a rotor according to the code signals. The rotation detecting device has a knob member which is rotatably attached to a part of an enclosure, a plurality of projections which are formed on the periphery of one end of the knob member, and two detection switches which selectively engage with the projections to turn ON/OFF and issue signals. These detection switches are disposed on a printed circuit board in such a manner that they turn ON/OFF at different timings as the knob member rotates. Thus, the rotational position and the direction of rotation of the knob member are detected by the combinations of the ON/OFF signals of the detection switches.

    摘要: A character code conversion unit inputs data to a common file that both uses the second code and also is utilized by a plurality of systems, the character code conversion unit being equipped with a code converter and a unit for determining the conversion into another code system. The code converter converts the character data expressed by a first code system into character data expressed by a second code system, and holds the converted results when they are properly converted. The unit for determining the conversion into another code system inputs the data of the first code system and determines whether the data can be converted into data of a third code system, different from both the first code system and the second code system. When the data are properly converted, the converted results held in the code converter are output.

    摘要: A biaxially oriented polyester film which is characterized as follows: (A) it is composed of an aromatic copolyester which is obtained with use of a germanium compound as the polycondensation catalyst, the copolyester having a melting point in the range from 210.degree. to 245.degree. C. and a glass transition temperature not lower than 50.degree. C., (B) it has a refractive index in the thickness direction in the range from 1.505 to 1.55 and a refractive index in the plane direction in the range from 1.61 to 1.66, and (C) it exhibits excellent shaping processability when it is laminated onto a metal sheet and subjected to deep drawing. This film exhibits excellent shaping processability, heat resistance, resistance to embrittlement under retort treatment, and flavor retention and is useful for coating inner and outer surfaces of metal cans such as those containing beverage or food.

    摘要: A method of producing a semiconductor device such as a semiconductor laser having a controllably disordered superlattice. The superlattice is grown epitaxially and in the same epitaxial growth process a heavily selenium doped semiconductor layer is also grown in a known spatial relationship to the superlattice. The doped layer is patterned as by etching and then the device is annealed to diffuse selenium impurities from the doped layer. The time and temperature of annealing are controlled such that the impurities diffuse into and thereby disorder regions of the superlattice layer, leaving a nondisordered region which can serve as a resonator in a laser.

    摘要: In a mounting structure of an acoustic component for mounting the acoustic component to a casing of an electronic equipment, the acoustic component is fitted in a cylindrical hole of a spacer that is formed of a resilient material. The spacer is fitted in a cylindrical hole of a mounting part which fits in or forms part of a casing of the electronic equipment. The spacer and the mounting part have a sound path aperture for allowing the passage of sound into and out of the casing. The mounting part is provided with a sound path groove along its outer surface for communicating with the sound path aperture of the mounting part. Because of the sound path groove, an accidental placement of an obstacle, such as a finger, cannot block the passage of the sound into or out of the sound path aperture.
