Embodiments of the disclosure relate to archiving data in a storage system. An exemplary embodiment comprises making a flash copy of data in a source volume, compressing data in the flash copy wherein each track of data is compressed into a set of data pages, and storing the compressed data pages in a target volume. Data extents for the target volume may be allocated from a pool of compressed data extents. After each stride worth of data is compressed and stored in the target volume, data may be destaged to avoid destage penalties. Data from the target volume may be decompressed from a flash copy of the target volume in a reverse process to restore each data track, when the archived data is needed. Data may be compressed and uncompressed using a Lempel-Ziv-Welch process.

The present invention provides a phosphorus compound of formula (I). The phosphorus compound is prepared by reacting a compound of formula (II) with alkylene carbonate. As compared with the conventional phosphorus compounds as flame-resistant additives, the phosphorus compound of the present invention has not only a high pyrolysis temperature but also excellent solubility in most of the organic solvents with high or low polarity, and is therefore a suitable flame-resistant additive for use in thermosetting or thermoplastic resins.

The method is processed by only three lithography processes with two multi-tone photomasks and one general photomask. In the peripheral wiring area, the top conductive line directly contacts the bottom conductive line without any other conductive layer. The conventional lift-off process is eliminated, thereby preventing a material (not dissolved by a stripper) from suspending in the stripper or remaining on the array substrate surface.

After the processes of forming a conductive layer, electroforming a conductive mold, and separating a male mold from the conductive mold, a first male mold has a pattern corresponding to the light guiding pattern and a second male mold also has a pattern corresponding to the light scattering pattern. Besides, the present invention also provides a method for manufacturing a multi-functional light guide plate by using two of the mold assembly of the present invention. Because the produced multi-functional light guide plate has the advantages of high transmittancy, the multiple optical sheets in conventional display device can be replaced by the multi-functional light guide plate of the present invention.
