摘要: The invention relates to a multilayer printed circuit board, in particular, for high-frequency operation, having least an outer, plane dielectric layer for accommodating interconnection paths of equal cross-section and component as well as further alternately provided metallic and dielectric layers for forming a reference earth and for the voltage supply to said interconnection paths and components via plated-through holes. In order to obtain a plane surface for the interconnection paths and predetermined areas on the printed circuit board, which areas have different characteristic impedances when interconnection paths having the same cross-section are used, at least the first metal layer comprises at least one window and the subsequent metal layer has a metal island corresponding to the area of the window, which island is connected to the reference earth via a buried plated-through hole, and the characteristic impedance of the interconnection paths is a function of the resulting thickness of the effective dielectric layers the number of which is increased in the area of the window.

摘要: A sensing apparatus for sensing an object includes an arrangement of sensing elements for sensing a property of the object. The sensing elements are operable in a contact mode, in which a sensing is performable, while the sensing elements are in contact with the object, and in a non-contact mode, in which a sensing is performable, while the sensing elements are not in contact with the object. The sensing apparatus further includes a mode determination unit for determining whether or not a sensing element is in contact with the object.

摘要: An apparatus for depth-resolved measurements of properties of tissue includes an illuminator that illuminates the tissue with light, a collector for collecting light which has not been absorbed by the tissue, and a determination device configured to determine properties of the tissue in different depths from the collected light. A casing for advancing into a hollow object includes at least a part of the illuminator and collector. The illuminator and collector are configured to collect light depth-resolved, and the determination device is configured to determine depth-resolved properties of the tissue from the light which has been collected depth-resolved.

摘要: An imaging apparatus for imaging a heart is provided, wherein the imaging of the heart is improved such that conclusions about regions of the heart having an abnormal behaviour can be made more accurate and more optimal. The imaging apparatus comprises a first site determination unit for determining a first site of the heart comprising a first property type like a fractionated electrogram (70,71,74,75) and a second site determination unit for determining a second site comprising a second property type like a ganglionated plexus (72,73). The first site and the second site are causally related and displayed on a display unit. Since the displayed first and second sites are causally related to each other, a further information is given, i.e. the causal relation, which assists a user in finding regions of the heart showing an abnormal behaviour.

摘要: The invention relates to a medical apparatus (120,130) having a sensor (100,110) for detecting a force acting on the medical apparatus (120,130) in a longitudinal direction. The medical apparatus (120,130) comprises an opto-mechanical force transducer having a flexible part (22,42) for receiving the force, an optical guide (1) having an outcoupling surface (11) that faces the flexible part (22,42) of the opto-mechanical force transducer, and a photodetector which detects an interference pattern composed of light (32) in the optical guide (1) that is reflected from the outcoupling surface (11) of the optical guide (1) and of light (33) in the optical guide (1) that is reflected from the flexible part (11) of the opto-mechanical force transducer. The use of the interference pattern composed of the light reflected from the out-coupling surface of the optical guide and the light reflected from the flexible part of the opto-mechanical force transducer results in a more accurate measurement of the force acting on the medical apparatus.
