    Abstract: Transmission line type components (1, 1′), which form coaxial lines having a very low characteristic impedance by coaxially installing a cylindrical outer conductor made of a conductive material being larger in diameter than an inner conductor so as to cover via a high dielectric insulating material the surface of an inner conductor made of a conductive material, are inserted in series between a power supply line (8) and a ground line (9) connected with a dc source on a printed circuit board and an I.SI (6) power supply port, whereby almost the entire high-frequency power supply current generated from the I.SI (6) is reflected off the I.SI (6) power supply port, and part of the high-frequency power supply current intruding into the components (1, 1′) is consumed and does not reach the external power supply line (8).

    Abstract: There is provided a multi-layered printed wiring board including a power supply layer, a ground layer, a signal layer, and insulators sandwiched between those layers. The power supply layer is provided with a circuit in the form of wirings for imparting impedance thereto. For instance, the power supply layer may be formed to include main wirings for distributing a dc current entirely to the printed wiring board with a dc voltage drop being depressed, and branch wirings for enhancing high frequency impedance to isolate circuits in terms of high frequency, which circuits are mounted on the multi-layered printed wiring board and operated independently with each other. The invention makes it possible to provide a relatively great inductance to thereby decrease high frequency power supply current which is generated on IC/LSI operation and is to flow into decoupling capacitors. In addition, in accordance with the present invention, it is possible to identify a route through which a current runs into the power supply layer to thereby provide an optimal decoupling capacitor to every IC/LSI as a source of high frequency power supply current.

    Abstract: This invention relates to DAT (Digital Audio Tape) equipment. On the magnetic tape, a multiple signal comprising a pulse code modulated sound data of a fixed period obtained by applying pulse code modulation to an audio signal, subcodes time-divisionally multiplexed before and after the pulse code modulated sound data by predetermined time periods, respectively, and a track finding signal is recorded. This recorded signal is allocated onto tracks formed in succession on the magnetic tape by the rotary head and is recorded in a first mode, or in a second mode where its data capacity per unit time is nearly one half of that in the first mode, and a revolving speed of the rotary head and a magnetic tape running speed are nearly one half of those in the first mode. ATF (Automatic Track Finding) signals are included in the recorded signal and are used for tracking control. A circuit arrangement for this ATF signal is provided, which permits only one of the plural kinds of ATF signals to be utilized so that an excellent reproduction can be performed even when the DAT equipment is switched from recording to reproducing mode. When the subcodes are subjected to over-write recording, tracking control is carried out by one ATF signal of the respective reproduced signals obtained by applying one scanning onto a recording track on the magnetic tape using the rotary head.

    Abstract: In a semiconductor integrated circuit, a ground plane conductor 3 is formed in a substrate 9 to oppose to a conducting line 2 formed on the substrate, so as to form a microstrip line. A decoupling capacitor 1 is provided on the substrate 9 and is electrically connected between the conducting line 2 and the ground plane conductor 3 so as to bypass a high frequency current component flowing through the conducting line to the ground plane conductor. Thus, the impedance of the conducting line 2 is stabilized, and a path of a feedback current of a high frequency current component flowing through the conducting line 2 is ensured by the ground plane conductor 3, so that a current loop is minimized, resulting in minimized electromagnetic noises radiated from the current loop.
