摘要： Crosslinked (meth)acrylate-based pressure sensitive adhesives are capable of attachment to mammalian skin for at least 10 days. The crosslinked adhesive composition includes a crosslinked (meth)acrylate-based copolymer free from polar groups, and a hydrogenated hydrocarbon tackifier resin. The crosslinked adhesive composition is prepared by photocrosslinking a hot melt processable blend of a (meth)acrylate copolymer and a hydrogenated hydrocarbon tackifier resin. The (meth)acrylate copolymer is the reaction product of an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer with alkyl groups of 4-22 carbon atoms and are free of polar groups, and a copolymerizable photocrosslinker.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a low-combustibility film construction. The film construction includes a film layer, a first adhesive layer with a fire-retardant additive of at least 41% by weight and a second adhesive layer. The total thickness of the adhesive layers is in the range of 18.5 to 44.5 microns. The total thickness of the fire retardant adhesive layer is 32% to 85% of the total adhesive thickness.

摘要： Processing tapes have special properties to permit them to be used to prepare laminate articles, such as security articles. The processing tapes include a backing, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer and a release surface covering the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The backing is a dimensionally stable transparent polymeric film, and the surface on which the pressure sensitive is coated may be a treated surface. The pressure sensitive adhesive is a transparent pressure sensitive adhesive that includes a crosslinked (meth)acrylate-based polymer and has a refractive index in the range of 1.45-1.55. The (meth)acrylate-based polymer includes alkyl (meth)acrylate monomers and may include acidic monomers.

摘要： The present invention is an adhesive composition for stabilizing an electrical conductor. The adhesive composition includes a base polymer and an additive for absorbing UV light, such as a benzotriazole or a benzophenone. When the adhesive composition is in contact with the electrical conductor, the electrical conductor has less than about a 20% change in electrical resistance over a period of about 500 hours.

摘要： Polyester polymers are described comprising polymerized units comprising a hydroxy functional aromatic group wherein the hydroxy group has been functionalized with an adhesion promoting group. In some embodiments, the polyester polymer comprises polymerized units have the general structure (A) wherein L1 and L2 are independently divalent linking groups comprising an ester group; and RA is an adhesion promoting group bonded to the oxygen atom by means of an ionic or covalent bond. In other embodiments, film articles, laminates are described and methods of making functionalized polyester polymers are described.

The fluorinated polymer includes first divalent units independently represented by formula and second divalent unit independently comprising a pendent cationic, anionic, amphoteric, or amine-oxide group or a pendent poly(alkyleneoxy) segment. The non-fluorinated polymer is R2O-(EO)p—(R3O)q-(EO)p—R2 or R2O—(R3O)q-(EO)p—(R3O)q—R2. A method of making the composition and methods of reducing the surface tension of a liquid and a method of treating a hydrocarbon-bearing formation are also disclosed.
