摘要: In a memory device with a bank of N memory blocks, an address is generated for a first and a second one of the blocks. The first and second addresses include addresses for current first and second possible “refresh blocks”. If its memory block does not contend with the current first possible refresh block, an externally generated access to one of the N memory blocks is permitted and at least a portion of the refresh block is refreshed during a certain interval. In another aspect, the externally generated access is permitted and at least a portion of the current second possible refresh block is refreshed during the same certain interval if: i) the memory block of the externally generated access contends with the current first possible refresh block and ii) the current first and second possible refresh blocks are different ones of the N memory blocks.

摘要: The invention provides isolated nucleic acids encoding a variety of nucleic acids and proteins having diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic, and other uses. These nucleic acids and proteins are useful for diagnosis, prevention, and therapy of a number of human and other animal disorders. The invention also provides antisense nucleic acids molecules, expression vectors containing the nucleic acids molecules of the invention, host cells into which the expression vectors have been introduced, and non-human transgenic animals in which a nucleic acids molecule of the invention has been introduced or disrupted. The invention still further provides isolated polypeptides, fusion polypeptides, antigenic peptides and antibodies. Diagnostic, screening, and therapeutic methods utilizing compositions of the invention are also provided. The nucleic acids and polypeptides of the present invention are useful as modulating agents in regulating a variety of cellular processes.

摘要: A method for assessment of the suitability of and/or effectiveness of a target therapy for a TNF-mediated-related disorder, such as severe or persistent asthma, in a subject evaluates the presence, absence, and/or magnitude of expression of one or more genes corresponding to contacting the sample with a panel of nucleic acid segments consisting of at least a portion of at least one member from the group consisting of the nucleotide sequences corresponding to at least one of TNFRSF1A SNP rs4149581 (SEQ ID NO:1), TNFRSF1 B SNP rs3766730 (SEQ ID NO:2) or TNFRSFI B SNP rs590977 (SEQ ID NO:3) SNPs which results in a determination that one or more of said SNPs in a sample are in linkage disequilibrium (LD). The method enables identification of the effectiveness of target therapies prior to or after starting a patient on such therapies.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for imaging a structure and a related processor-readable medium are disclosed. A surface of a substrate (or a portion thereof) is exposed to a gas composition. The gas composition includes one or more components that etch the substrate upon activation by interaction with a beam of electrons. A beam of electrons is directed to one or more portions of the surface of the substrate that are exposed to the gas composition to etch the one or more portions. A plurality of images is obtained of the one or more portions at different instances of time as the one or more portions are etched. A three-dimensional model of one or more structures embedded within the one or more portions of the substrate is generated from the plurality of images.
