A subject support, wireless magnetic tracking system, registration system, at least a first display device, a control system and a surgeon interface operable by the surgeon to control operation of the plurality of parts of the integrated surgical system are provided. The method comprises determining the position of at least a first marker being wirelessly tracked by a wireless magnetic tracking system, registering the position of the body part of the subject with an image of the body part of the subject, displaying a registered image of the body part of the subject and at least an image representative of an implant, and receiving a command from a surgeon interface operable by the surgeon.
