摘要: Methods and apparatus enable thermal conditioning of a substrate in a vacuum chamber that is evacuated to a high vacuum pressure. The substrate rests on a thermally controlled support that defines a cavity area between an underside of the substrate and a recessed section of the support. A fence of the support bounds the recessed section and limits flow of a gas injected into the cavity area into an interior region of the vacuum chamber where the support and substrate are disposed. Accordingly, a pressure differential exists between the cavity area and the interior region of the vacuum chamber. This relatively higher pressure in the cavity area enables heat transfer between the support and substrate via the gas in the cavity area in order to adjust the temperature of the substrate.

摘要: Multi-antenna systems, including mobile devices having multiple antennas, are provided herein. A first antenna and a second antenna are operable at two or more of the same non-overlapping communication frequency bands. The first antenna and the second antenna are closely spaced and have different fundamental modes of operation such that the first antenna and second antenna are substantially isolated at the two or more non-overlapping communication frequency bands. The first antenna and second antenna having different fundamental modes can be a linear antenna, such as a monopole, dipole, PIFA, or PILA, and an aperture antenna, such as a slot or loop antenna.

摘要: The thermal processing device includes a stage, a continuous wave electromagnetic radiation source, a series of lenses, a translation mechanism, a detection module, a three-dimensional auto-focus, and a computer system. The stage is configured to receive a substrate thereon. The continuous wave electromagnetic radiation source is disposed adjacent the stage, and is configured to emit continuous wave electromagnetic radiation along a path towards the substrate. The series of lenses is disposed between the continuous wave electromagnetic radiation source and the stage, and are configured to condense the continuous wave electromagnetic radiation into a line of continuous wave electromagnetic radiation on a surface of the substrate. The translation mechanism is configured to translate the stage and the line of continuous wave electromagnetic radiation relative to one another. The detection module is positioned within the path, and is configured to detect continuous wave electromagnetic radiation.

摘要: A fluid inspection device for inspecting a fluid in a vessel includes an elongate insertion well having a rear end disposed at the wall of the vessel and a front end disposed in the interior of the vessel. An inside of the insertion well is sealed off from the fluid in the vessel and an outside of the insertion well is in contact with the fluid in the vessel. A camera unit is disposed in the inside of the insertion well, and a lens in operative communication with the camera unit is disposed at the front end of the insertion well so that a front end of the lens is in contact with the fluid and a rear end of the lens is inside the insertion well. In addition, a light guide having a light emitting end is configured to guide light from the inside of the insertion well to the light emitting end. The light emitting end is disposed forward of the front end of the lens and directs the light at an angle toward the front end of the lens, and a gap between the front end of the lens and the light emitting end is capable of receiving the fluid.

摘要: Lithium titanate is made by heating to a temperature of at least 715 C., powder form lithium carbonate and titanium dioxide while mixing, for instance in a rotary kiln. The product is formulated into extended release oral pharmaceutical compositions. Lithium ions are released by zero order rate characteristics from the compositions. The composition can have increased density to extend retention in the stomach. The compositions are used for treatment of manic depressive illness.

摘要: A retail product display system which may be pre-packed with product before shipment has a support fixture and a support stand made up of at least one sheet of thin, planar material foldable along a plurality of lines and assemblable into a rigid, three-dimensional, free-standing, upright, folded-plane structure containing a plurality of horizontal, rectangular apertures for mounting the support fixture therein. The support fixtures have one end cantilevered outwardly from the stand at a slight inclination to the horizontal for suspending the product therefrom, and a mounting end adapted to permit insertion into the mounting apertures from one side only of the display stand with means located thereat for gripping the support stand material through the mounting aperture and for coupling loads applied to the fixture from any direction to the support stand such that the fixture is resistant to withdrawal from the mounting aperture regardless of the attitude of the support stand. 7
