摘要: The present invention relates to a BOD analyzer comprising a microbe sensor containing an oxygen electrode and a microbe membrane. The microbe membrane is made by immobilizing microorganisms belonging to the genus Klebsiella in membrane. Specifically, the present invention relates to a BOD analyzer comprising flow cell equipped with a microbe sensor containing an oxygen electrode and a microbe membrane; and a liquid passage which is connected with the entrance of the flow cell and which is equipped with an outlet. The microbe membrane is made by immobilizing microorganisms belonging to Klebsiella oxytoca 12092 strain in a porous hydrophilic membrane having an average pore size of 0.65-3 .mu.m in diameter by using at least one gelating agent selected from the group consisting of alginic acid or salts thereof, agar, gellan gum, xanthane gum, gelatine, carageenan, locust bean gum, methylcellulose, pectin, and pullulan. The present invention also relates to improved methods of analyzing BOD by using the BOD analyzer.

摘要: A seat has a configuration in which, in each side frame of a cushion frame, an inner frame and an outer frame which have flanges extending along peripheral edges thereof are faced to each other with a space therebetween at least partially, and the flanges are fixed by hemming process along the entire peripheral edges thereof. Since the entire peripheral edges are hemmed, the inner frame and the outer frame are securely fixed. Additionally, since the inner frame and the outer frame which are thin-plate-shaped are used, reduction in weight of each side frame can be achieved. Further, since the inner frame and the outer frame are faced to each other with a space therebetween at least partially, a compressive/tensile strength required as a side frame can be secured by inserting an expanded bead body into the space.

摘要: A gas generator includes a holder made of metal having assembled thereto a cup filled with a gas generating agent and an igniter for burning the gas generating agent. The holder includes a body part, and an igniter fixing engagement part and a cup fixing engagement part projecting from the body part. These engagement parts are bent, so that the igniter and the cup are fixed by crimping to the holder. The engagement parts are both finish shaped by forging processing. A metal flow appearing in superficial layers of the engagement parts extends continuously from the body part through the engagement parts to return to the body part, without being divided in surfaces of the engagement parts.

摘要: The invention provides a semiconductor bridge, an igniter, and a gas generator each of which satisfies a high-speed responsiveness required of, for example, an automotive side inflator. The semiconductor bridge includes a bridge part heated by being supplied with a current. The bridge part is disposed on a substrate. The bridge part includes a first layer and an ignition bridge layer. The first layer is formed on the substrate and has insulating properties. The ignition bridge layer serves as a second layer disposed on the first layer. The width of the bridge part at the first layer and the width of the bridge part at the second layer are substantially equal to each other. A space is provided around the bridge part. With this structure, the diffusion of current and heat into the substrate can be restricted to the minimum level, and the ignition time can be quickened as an ignition characteristic. Each of the igniter and the gas generator includes the semiconductor bridge.
