摘要: In a fuel cell powered electric vehicle having a fuel cell system and an electricity storing device for storing electricity generated by the fuel cell system, the fuel cell system and the electricity storing device stored in a box are fixed to a lower side of a floor of a cabin. A plate is provided to separate the fuel cell system and the electricity storing device in the interior of the box from each other. In addition, through holes are provided in the floor of the cabin for connecting between a refrigerant inlet port and a refrigerant outlet port of the electricity storing device and the cabin.

摘要: An arrangement of a cooling apparatus installed in a vehicle for cooling with an air refrigerant an electricity storing apparatus for storing electricity generated in the vehicle, comprises an inlet port, a discharge duct and a fan. The inlet port let in therefrom the air refrigerant to the electricity storing apparatus. The discharge duct is disposed below a floor surface of a trunk of the vehicle for causing the air refrigerant discharged from the electricity storing apparatus to flow therethrough. The fan is situated in the discharge duct for discharging the air refrigerant. The fan is disposed outwardly of an interior material provided on a side of the trunk of the vehicle. The arrangement of a cooling apparatus can prevent the operating noise of a fan from entering a passenger compartment and which can facilitate the installation of luggage in a trunk.

摘要: A battery assembly has a temperature control mechanism for effecting cooling or heating unit batteries for operation in a desired temperature range. First heat-exchange planar members of respective heat-transfer plates are sandwiched between the unit batteries that are arranged in an array, and second heat-exchange planar members thereof are held against transverse narrow side walls of the unit batteries. The unit batteries and the heat-transfer plates are securely fastened together by holder plates. Heat produced when the unit batteries are in operation is transferred through the first and second heat-exchange planar members of the heat-transfer plates and dissipated into an appropriate cooling medium, such as atmospheric air or another cooling fluid, through a heat-exchange.

摘要: The temperature-controlling apparatus for a battery is constituted by a battery casing, a plurality of battery modules and a partition wall. The battery casing is provided with an inlet opening on a front side thereof and an outlet opening on a rear side thereof. Each battery module has spacers having a plurality of vertical pores and are disposed in the battery casing. The partition wall is disposed in a lower portion of the battery casing for defining a chamber communicating with the inlet opening. The partition wall is provided with transverse ridges for supporting the battery modules with their side edge portions and a flat portion having a plurality of pores penetrating the partition wall. By this structure, the temperature-controlling medium introduced into the battery casing flows through the pores of the partition wall and the vertical pores of the spacers.
