    摘要： An audio coding method and apparatus capable of improving efficiency of a MPEG-4 AAC (Moving Picture Expert Group-4 Advanced Audio Coding) process are disclosed. The audio coding method and apparatus reduce the number of calculations of an audio coding algorithm to improve efficiency of an audio coding process. Specifically, the audio coding method and apparatus reduce the number of calculations required for a Psychoacoustic model process of the MPEG-4 AAC algorithm capable of coding an audio signal.

    摘要： A transcoder for use between speech codecs using different Code-Excited Linear Prediction (CELP) type and a method therefor are disclosed. The transcoder includes a decoding unit of an input CELP codec, a transcoding filter, a transcoding filter design unit, and an encoding unit of an output CELP codec. By substituting a post-filter and a perceptual weighting filter of a prior art with one transcoding filter, the calculation amount of the transcoder is reduced, and speech quality decoded at a receiving end is improved.

    摘要： A method for controlling a multi-unit air conditioner is disclosed which is capable of preventing frost from being formed on the outer surface of a refrigerant line. In order to control an air conditioner including an outdoor unit, a plurality of indoor units corresponding to the out door unit, and a plurality of refrigerant lines for connecting the indoor units to the outdoor unit, respectively, the method includes the steps of measuring respective states of the refrigerant lines using a measurement sensor, determining respective states of the refrigerant lines, based on measurement data obtained by the measurement sensor, and controlling an operation state of an operating one or operating ones of the indoor units, in accordance with the determined state of the refrigerant line associated with the operating indoor unit or each operating indoor unit.

The cooling/heating air conditioner comprises a refrigeration cycle mechanism including a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, expansion units, indoor heat exchangers, and a 4-way valve, to enable both cooling and heating operations, a condensed water collecting device to receive and store condensed water, which is produced in part of the outdoor heat exchanger and indoor heat exchangers serving as evaporators, a steam generating device to change the condensed water gathered via the condensed water collecting device into humidifying steam, and a humidifying spray device to supply the steam generated in the steam generating device to rooms. The cooling/heating air conditioner has the effect of realizing more pleasant air conditioning environment in a heated room that may be easily dried, and of achieving effective utilization of the condensed water.

The possibility of incorrect input of the capacities of the outdoor units is eliminated, and therefore, more accurate control of the multiple air conditioner is accomplished. Furthermore, it is not necessary for an engineer or a user to directly input the capacities of the outdoor units, and therefore, user convenience is improved.
