    Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a method for a PIM (passive intermodulation interference) detection RAN (radio access network) application deployed across one or more RICs (RAN intelligent controllers) for detecting PIM in a RAN including multiple RAN base stations for servicing multiple users located across multiple regions, each region including at least one RAN base station. The method is performed for a particular region serviced by a particular RAN base station. The method detects (1) high uplink noise for the particular region and (2) antenna imbalance for the particular region. Based on said detection, the method determines whether high KPI (key performance indicator) impact is detected for the particular region. When high KPI impact is detected for the particular region, the method generates a PIM alert to notify an operator of the particular RAN base station that services the particular region that PIM is detected for the particular region.

    Abstract: This disclosure is directed to methods and system for intelligent roaming of user equipment (“UE”) of a home network onto a visited network. The methods and systems monitor performance of voice and data services for UEs in coverage areas of edge cell sites of the home network. The methods and systems determine which UEs in the coverage areas of the edge cell sites to roam on the visited network based on decreases in voice and data services. The UEs in the coverage areas selected for roaming are pushed to roam on the visited network by sending a signal that instructs selected UEs to switch into roaming mode while the UEs are still in the coverage areas of the edge cell sites.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides automated update notifications. Embodiments include receiving, by a cloud provider, a request to manage updates for a computing device communicating with the cloud provider via a network. Embodiments include registering an agent at the computing device with the cloud provider as a recipient for an automated update notification based on configuration details of the computing device and detection of an update item related to an aspect of the configuration details. Embodiments include identifying, by the agent, the configuration details of the computing device, the configuration details comprising details of a hardware configuration of the computing device and a software configuration of the computing device. Embodiments include monitoring one or more databases for the update item. Embodiments include transmitting the automated update notification to the agent based on detection of the update item in the one or more databases.
