    摘要: A density-adjusting method of a liquid-discharging apparatus having a head including a plurality of juxtaposed liquid-discharging units having respective nozzles, forming dots by landing droplets discharged from the nozzles onto a droplet-landing object, and providing half tones by arranging a dot array is provided. A density-measuring pattern including all pixel trains lying in the main scanning direction with a constant density is formed, the density of the pattern is scanned so as to obtain density information and the relationship between the number and the density of droplets with respect to each pixel train. Upon receipt of a discharge command signal, based on the obtained data with respect to each pixel train, the density of the pixel train corresponding to the discharge command signal is adjusted by making the number of droplets to be actually discharged from the nozzles different from that of droplets discharged according to the discharge command signal.

    摘要: A fuel injection device increases an increment value of fuel after cut-off of assist air so that the air/fuel ratio for combustion can be held constant to stabilize the idling rotational speed. The device has control means for controlling, based on various detection signals indicative of an engine cooling water temperature, an engine rotational speed, an amount of intake air, etc., a valve-opening time of a fuel injection valve in accordance with a predetermined control program, and also controlling an on/off control valve for cutting off air supplied to fuel atomizing means. Fuel incrementing means increases an amount of liquid fuel supplied to the fuel injection valve depending on opening/closing of the on/off control valve and the temperature of engine cooling water. When the on/off control valve is closed and an engine is in a state of steady operation, the increment value of the liquid fuel supplied to the fuel injection valve can be gradually increased by the fuel incrementing means.

    摘要: Monodisperse colored spherical particles each having two separated color regions of two hues, that is, two-colored spherical particles, useful, for example, for displays of characters, graphics, images and the like, the two hues being for reverse display in terms of electricity and magnetism from the viewpoint of good suitability for display are provided. In the production process and the apparatus for producing the colored spherical polymer particles, microchannels are utilized including a first microchannel through which a colored continuous phase comprising a color dye/pigment dispersed in a fluid dispersing medium containing a polymerizable resin component and having colored phases of different hues is transferred, and a second microchannel through which a spheroidizing disperse phase flows. The process and apparatus spheroidizes the discharged colored continuous phase having two hues and cures the polymerizable resin component in the colored continuous phase, whereby colored spherical polymer particles are formed.

    摘要: A fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine introduces, via an air passage bypassing a throttle valve, a portion of intake air flowing in an induction system of the engine to an area where fuel is injected from a fuel injection valve, so as to facilitate atomization of the injected fuel. The air passage includes therein a flow control unit for opening and closing the air passage. During an engine idling, a total opening time of the air passage effected by the flow control unit is variably controlled for adjusting a supply mount of the intake air through the air passage so as to realize a target idling engine speed. As a result, the intake air fed through the air passage works not only to facilitate the atomization of the injected fuel, but also to control the idling engine speed to the target value.
