摘要: The invention relates to a method for the production of a blank of a ceramic material, wherein a first ceramic material and then a second ceramic material of different compositions are filled into a mold and wherein the materials are pressed and after pressing are sintered. Thereby, a layer of the first ceramic material is filled into the mold, a first open cavity is formed in the layer, the second ceramic material is filled into the first open cavity and the materials are pressed together and are then heat-treated. Both the first ceramic material and the second ceramic material contain, or consists of, lithium silicate glass ceramic.

摘要: Systems, methods, components, and materials are disclosed for stereolithographic fabrication of three-dimensional, dense objects. A resin including at least one component of a binder system and dispersed particles can be exposed to an activation light source. The activation light source can cure the at least one component of the binder system to form a green object, which can include the at least one component of the binder system and the particles. A dense object can be formed from the green object by removing the at least one component of the binder system in an extraction process and thermally processing particles to coalesce into the dense object.

摘要: A method for enhancing optical properties of sintered, zirconia ceramic bodies and zirconia ceramic dental restorations is provided. The porous or pre-sintered stage of a ceramic body is treated with two different yttrium-containing compositions and sintered, resulting in sintered ceramic bodies having enhanced optical properties. The enhanced optical properties may be substantially permanent, remaining for the useful life of the sintered ceramic body.

摘要: The invention relates to a set of porous zirconia dental mill blanks comprising at least two differently colored porous zirconia dental mill blanks, the porous zirconia dental mill blanks comprising zirconia, yttria, coloring ions, and optionally alumina, comprising multiple layers with different yttria content, having a bottom layer and a top layer, the content of yttria and coloring ions in mol % changing in opposite direction to each other from the bottom layer to the top layer, and the content of yttria and coloring ions in mol % being adjusted to provide an essentially constant ratio of the sum of yttria and coloring ions in mol % between the top layer and the bottom layer for the at least two differently colored zirconia dental mill blanks. The invention also relates to a process of producing such a set.

摘要: ZrO2-toughened glass ceramics having high molar fractions of tetragonal ZrO2 and fracture toughness value of greater than 1.8 MPa·m1/2. The glass ceramic may also include also contain other secondary phases, including lithium silicates, that may be beneficial for toughening or for strengthening through an ion exchange process. Additional second phases may also decrease the coefficient of thermal expansion of the glass ceramic. A method of making such glass ceramics is also provided.

摘要: Provided are a zirconia dental mill blank and a manufacturing method therefor, said mill bank having a to-be-cut part composed of a composite material, which includes fine particles of an inorganic oxide (excluding zirconium oxide, an inorganic oxide functioning as a stabilizer, and aluminum oxide) and a matrix composed of a temporarily sintered body of a crystalline zirconium oxide powder containing a stabilizer and an aluminum oxide additive, wherein the temporarily sintered body is a microporous temporarily sintered body having a relative density of 45-65% and having pores opened outward, and the fine particles of the inorganic oxide are held in the pores of the microporous temporarily sintered body. Moreover, provided are a method for manufacturing a dental zirconia ceramic prosthesis, and a method for manufacturing an article composed of a zirconia composite ceramic.
