摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide devices, systems, and methods that precisely identify a minimum of one predetermined spot which is hidden under a skin. The system comprises a locator device and corresponding implanted target device. The port locator device preferably comprises one magnet with north and south magnetic pole, a body and a suspending component. The body may utilize specific geometry which improves accuracy. The implanted target device may include at least one magnet and at least one target or a plurality of targets and at least one magnet. Various configurations can be provided that precisely identify a single spot or a plurality of spots which are hidden under a skin.

摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a stabilization device (100) configured to engage a subcutaneous medical device, or port (40). The device can include a guide cylinder (120) that aligns with a receiving cup (46) of the port when the port is engaged with a bottom surface (116) of the stabilization device. The guide cylinder can be rotatable between a first position and a second position. The guide cylinder can further include a needle channel (122) extending therethrough. An axis of the needle channel can be offset from the central axis of the guide cylinder. As such rotating the guide cylinder between the first position and the second position can align the needle channel with a different insertion site. The needle channel can align with the receiving cup of the port in both the first position and the second position. Accessing the receiving cup through different insertion sites can mitigate the formation of scar tissue.

摘要: A system and method for updating patient devices is disclosed. The patient devices may include respiratory therapy devices that operate in accordance with instruction sets, such as software or firmware. A server may maintain a database of configuration data indicating the versions of the software and firmware that is currently installed on the patient devices. The server may also transmit updated instructions from over a network, including a wireless network. Particular patient devices may be selected for updating based on the configuration data. Upon performing an update a patient device may transmit configuration data to the server.

The accessory device provides for visualizing the meatal area on a monitor by means of a camera moving in unison with the catheter, such that the user is assisted in identifying the meatus and inserting the catheter.

摘要: Systems and methods are presented for delivering medical fluids to a patient. A data storage device (120) is either separately attached to or incorporated within the structure of a reusable fixture that may be detachably connected to a barrel (111) of a syringe (107). A filling station (110) and an power injector (108) may each include a read-write device (114, 122) that is operable to read the data storage device (120) within its field of view. When the read-write devices (114, 122) are attached to the filing station (110) and the power injector (40), respectively, and when the fixture including the data storage device (120) is attached to the syringe (107), the read-write devices (114, 122) may be operable to store data on and read data from the data storage device (120) associated with the syringe (107). After an injection procedure, the fixture may be detached from the syringe (107) and reused with a new or resterilized syringe (107).
