    Abstract: The method of this invention provides a simple and inexpensive method for manufacturing self-sealing pneumatic rubber tires of the tubeless type having a higher degree of uniformity than can be made utilizing conventional manufacturing procedures that are currently being practiced. In the practice of this invention a low viscosity sealant formulation, which would ordinarily be difficult to handle and build into an uncured tire, is encapsulated in a stiff rubber formulation. This makes it relatively easy to build the sealant layer into the tire since the low viscosity sealant formulation is contained with the more rigid solid material. The low viscosity sealant material requires little and preferably no depolymerization to act effectively as a sealant. Accordingly, it does not need to be depolymerized with a peroxide which causes off-gassing and the resultant tire uniformity and balance issues normally associated with polymer break down.

    Abstract: A multi-chambered tubeless tyre or tube and manufacturing process for the same for vehicles comprising of a master chamber near wheel rim to keep/contain pressurized air/fluid; at least one chamber sandwiched between said master chamber and inner surface of tyre, said sandwiched chamber(s) has/have independent one way inlet valve for sealant or pressurized fluid/air as the case may be; said sandwiched chamber(s) are formed and joined in green state with said green tube or green tubeless tyre to achieve mechanical properties after vulcanization. Even independent chamber can be sandwiched between said master chamber and inner surface of tyre. This arrangement can be used in all kind of vehicles. It can be used in Self Supporting RFT (Run Flat Tyres), Auxiliary Supported RFT. It can be used for replacement of twin tire by providing extra wide tyre with multiple chambers with/without sealant.

    Abstract: A tube tire for avoiding damage to a tube in charging a sealant, and for preventing the sealant from plugging an air valve of the tube. A first tube half and a second tube half have the same side and circular cross sections are joined together as raw rubber, and then vulcanized, thereby forming a tube consisting of the two tube halves and integrated in a seamless condition. An air chamber is defined in the first tube half, and a sealant chamber is filled with a sealant and is defined in the second tube half. When the tube is pierced, the sealant repairs a pierced hole to prevent the puncture. Further, the air chamber is separated from the sealant chamber, so that an air valve provided on the air chamber is not plugged with the sealant.

    Abstract: A tube tire capable of simply, positively preventing the generation of a puncture due to contact of opposing portions of the wall surface of a tube. Double wall portions are formed at rim striking portions of a tube contained in a tire, and the internal spaces of the double wall portions are filled with a sealant. When the tire rides over an obstacle and the tire and the tube are clamped between the flange portions of a rim and the obstacle, the shock is damped by the double wall portions to prevent damage of the tube. Even if the double wall portions are damaged, the damaged portion is repaired with the sealant, thereby eliminating the generation of leakage of air.

    Abstract: A tire with reduced rolling noise includes a tire structure formed of at least one crown extended by two sidewalls and two beads. A base of each of the two beads is configured to be mounted onto a rim seat. The tire also includes a carcass-type reinforcing structure anchored into the two beads and an additional layer bonded to an inner wall of the tire structure. The additional layer is bonded to the tire structure at its edges and the rest of the additional layer is not bonded. The additional layer includes an inflation valve.
