Forming a functionalized surface on an exposed surface of the first substrate having the first functionalized polyelectrolyte polymer (A) attached thereto, forming a functionalized surface on an exposed surface of the second substrate having the second functionalized polyelectrolyte polymer (B) attached thereto, contacting at least a part of the functionalized surface of the first substrate onto at least a part of the functionalized surface of the second substrate thereby forming a contact area between the first functionalized polyelectrolyte polymer (A) and the second functionalized polyelectrolyte polymer (B), and forming a covalent bond between a first coupling moiety (A1) and a second coupling moiety (B1) in the contact area between the first and second substrates for binding the substrates.

摘要： A composition in the form of a solution or dispersion, comprising an anhydride-modified polyolefin, an anhydride-modified styrenic block copolymer, and an isocyanate-containing crosslinker, wherein the anhydride-modified polyolefin and anhydride-modified styrenic block copolymer are present in a total amount in the range of 7% to 18% by weight in total, based on the composition, and in a weight ratio of anhydride-modified polyolefin to anhydride-modified styrenic block copolymer which is in the range of 2:1 to 6:1; the weight ratio of isocyanate-containing crosslinker to the sum of anhydride-modified polyolefin plus anhydride-modified styrenic block copolymer is in the range of 0.2:1 to 0.5:1; and the solvent comprises a ketone as first solvent and an alkylbenzene or an alkane solvent. The compositions are useful for adhering TPO to TPU, polyester or PU. The composition can be used in a process of bonding a first part or coating of a TPO to a second part or coating of TPU, polyester or PU, using heat and optionally pressure, wherein the adhesion has improved peel strength.

摘要： A polyolefin material can be adhered to other material with good adhesion durability by 1) applying a first primer which contains i) a resin comprising a backbone of hydrocarbon chains and/or polybutadiene chains, and ii) a polyisocyanate compound or an alkoxysilane compound, to the surface of a polyolefin material, 2) applying a second primer which contains a polyisocyanate compound or an alkoxysilane compounds, onto the layer of the first primer, and 3) adhering the surface of the polyolefin material to which the first and second primers are applied to other material using a moisture-curing polyurethane adhesive.

摘要： Adhesive compositions are described that are suitable for securing building materials, such as TPO membrane roofing to a structural element, such as a roof deck. The adhesive compositions are very high-solids, wet-set adhesives that provide a peel strength that meets or exceeds industry standards, while requiring application to only one of two surfaces to be joined. The adhesive compositions comprise a liquid modifier with hydroxyl functionality, a chlorinated polyolefin and a silylated polymer. Methods of use are also disclosed.

Additionally a method of manufacturing a shoe is disclosed in an environmentally friendly manner by application of the primer to a transfer sheet, this being dried and cut into appropriate pieces, and this film-type multifunctional primer applied on a non-vulcanized outersole of a shoe.
