    摘要： A filtering device intended to be attached temporarily to an exhaust pipe (30) of a vehicle at occasional indoors driving and the like. The device comprises a filter (14), a filter holder (11) and a connection member (13,40) for attachment to the exhaust pipe. The object is to provide an exhaust filter which is simple to mount and dismount, which is self-supporting, which can be manufactured so cheap that it can be used as a disposable article, and which gives possibility of choice regarding the connection to different dimensions of exhaust pipes. These objects have been solved by the fact that the filter holder (11) consists of a double-sided open sleeve (15), both ends of which are designed with coupling means (16, 17), for example in the form of a bayonet complings, for connection of a perforated cover (12) attachable at one end of the sleeve and provided with corresponding coupling means, said cover being intended for inclusion of said filter (14) which is locatable against a seat (22) in the sleeve, and that to the other end of the sleeve (15) there are connectible alternative connection members (13, 40) for attachment to exhaust pipe (30) with different diameters, and which connection member is arranged in the axial extension of the sleeve and designed to support the holder (11).

    摘要： A combined sound damper and oil trap for compressed air apparatus comprising an oil trap having a hose or tube (5) which is directly connected to the compressed air apparatus and which at the outer end thereof encloses a scraper sleeve (7), whereby a radial space is formed between the scraper sleeve (7) and the hose or tube. The hose or tube is connected to an oil collector housing (1) whereas the scraper sleeve (7) is connected to a pressure chamber (2) which in turn directly communicates with a filter housing (3) containing a sound damper. The said sound damper comprises both a diffusor plate (11) provided between the pressure chamber and the filter housing (3) and a filter (12) which is mounted at the outlet end of the filter housing. The diffusor plate (11) provides a damping of low frequency noise and a substantially even distribution of the outlet air over the entire diffusor plate, and the filter (12) provides both a separation of oil mist from the outlet air and a damping of high frequency noise.

    摘要： An internal combustion engine exhaust gas filtering device in which an elongated high temperature resistant filter cartridge, gas permeable from end to end and radially, is received within a sheet metal casing having gas inlet and gas outlet ends with the filter cartridge spaced from the gas inlet end to form an entering exhaust gas distributing plenum, the filter cartridge being spaced from the casing internal side walls by an elongated circumferential spacing member which forms gas passages along the length of the filter cartridge which are open toward the filter cartridge but are closed toward the casing internal side walls whereby the exhaust gas to be filtered can flow longitudinally into the filter cartridge from the entering gas plenum and can flow radially from the passages in the spacing member into the filter cartridge, the spacing member also acting to protect the sheet metal casing against high temperature corrosive action of the exhaust gases.

    摘要： Particulates are removed from a particulate-laden gas stream such as the exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine by passing the gas through a cyclone type inertial separator. The separator has particulate reject slots cut in the side wall of the cyclone chamber through which particulates are rejected into a collection chamber. The collection chamber can be filled with a porous material such as wire mesh. The bottom of the cyclone chamber is a solid plate. The separator can be built into a conventional muffler.
