    摘要: A ring scanner is disclosed. The ring scanner is configured to receive an input selection of a keyword displayed on a display of the ring scanner. The keyword is linked to a routing function and the routing function is configured to route a scanned image or barcode obtained by the ring scanner to a destination computing device. Based on the input selection, the ring scanner can route the scanned image or barcode to the destination computing device. The ring scanner can receive from the destination computing device, a graphic to be displayed on the display of the ring scanner in response to the destination computing device processing the scanned image or barcode. The graphic can displays information or an action to be taken in response to the scanned image or barcode. The graphic may be displayed.

    摘要: A method, system, and computer readable medium configured to store instructions executable by a processor to identify personnel locations and/or conflicts between personnel and movable machines. The method includes creating, in a database, a dimensional map of an offshore unit, tracking, in the database, locations of the entities in the dimensional map of the offshore unit by receiving at least wireless monitoring from wireless devices associated with both the entities and the offshore unit, obtaining, with a programmable control device, operating parameters of a movable machine operating on the offshore unit, calculating, with the programmable control device, a dynamic movement zone that changes by moving dynamically in the dimensional map in the database based on the operating parameters of the movable machine, detecting, with the programmable control device, a conflict of at least one of the tracked locations interfering with the dynamic movement zone of the movable machine, and outputting the detected conflict with the programmable control device.

    摘要: In aspects of a wireless RFID-based hand sensory apparatus with contextual antenna selection, a wearable article is worn by a user who moves items that each have an RFID tag. A tracking system implemented in the wearable article includes a RFID reader designed to interrogate the RFID tags and receive an identification response from each of the RFID tags associated with the respective items. The tracking system also includes an omnidirectional antenna usable by the RFID reader to interrogate the RFID tags of a group of the items, and includes a narrow beam antenna usable by the RFID reader to interrogate the RFID tag of a selected item. The wearable article can be a glove of a pair of gloves with the narrow beam antenna implemented in the index finger of the glove, and the narrow beam antenna is directional based on where the user points the index finger.
