摘要: Apparatus and methods for measuring velocity perturbation in a fluid include one or more sensor vehicle adapted to be deployed in the fluid and a device that obtains position and acceleration data of each sensor vehicle. A physical model of the one or more sensor vehicle behaviour is used to transform the obtained data into a velocity field of the fluid, and output a map of the velocity field in the fluid. Sensor vehicles may be adapted to move passively through the fluid and/or to be transported by the fluid. The apparatus and methods may be used in liquid and gaseous environments, and the velocity field map may be used to track movement of species and particulate matter of interest in the fluid in real time.

摘要: A vehicle computing system validates location data received from a Global Navigation Satellite System receiver with other sensor data. In one embodiment, the system calculates velocities with the location data and the other sensor data. The system generates a probabilistic model for velocity with a velocity calculated with location data and variance associated with the location data. The system determines a confidence score by applying the probabilistic model to one or more of the velocities calculated with other sensor data. In another embodiment, the system implements a machine learning model that considers features extracted from the sensor data. The system generates a feature vector for the location data and determines a confidence score for the location data by applying the machine learning model to the feature vector. Based on the confidence score, the system can validate the location data. The validated location data is useful for navigation and map updates.

摘要: Methods and devices for odometry are disclosed. A previous position estimate and a current position estimate for a device are obtained. A current velocity estimate for the device is also obtained. A first distance estimate is calculated based on the position estimates, and a second distance estimate is calculated based on the velocity estimate. These two distance estimates are combined to generate a combined or hybrid distance estimate for the distance travelled by the device.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for determining the installation orientation of an accelerometer system relative to a vehicle within which it has been installed. The method comprises obtaining a plurality of acceleration measurements within the co-ordinate frame of the accelerometer system and then analysing the distribution of these measurements to determine the relative installation orientation. In particular, the measurements can be grouped according to the vehicle movement phase at which they were obtained and the measurements within the groups then used to determine the lateral and horizontal planes of the vehicle.

摘要: A system and a method for controlling a reel of a combine harvester, wherein, the system comprises a satellite positioning receiver, a driving device, a controller and a rotating speed sensor; the rotating speed sensor collects and transmits an actual rotating speed of the reel to the controller, and the controller provides the driving device with a speed regulation signal according to the actual rotating speed and the operation running speed. The rotating speed of the reel can be automatically, accurately and quickly adjusted according to the operation running speed of the combine harvester during the operation of the combine harvester, and improve the operation efficiency and quality while ensuring the crop feed quantity.

摘要: A method and system for estimating surface roughness of a ground for an off-road vehicle to control ground speed comprises detecting motion data of an off-road vehicle traversing a field or work site during a sampling interval. A pitch sensor is adapted to detect pitch data of the off-road vehicle for the sampling interval to obtain a pitch acceleration. A roll sensor is adapted to detect roll data of the off-road vehicle for the sampling interval to obtain a roll acceleration. An electronic data processor or surface roughness index module determines or estimates a surface roughness index based on the detected motion data, pitch data and roll data for the sampling interval. The surface roughness index can be displayed on the graphical display to a user or operator of the vehicle, or applied to control or execute a ground speed setting of the vehicle.
