PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid car for suppressing any influence of fuel on a vehicle when an engine stops for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle is provided with: a fuel tank 180 for storing fuel FL of an engine 2; a pump 186 for delivering the fuel FL in the fuel tank 180; piping 184 for returning the fuel FL delivered by the pump 186 to the fuel tank 186; and a controller (hybrid control section 62). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sudden change of engine output in NOx adsorption catalyst regeneration without requiring matching and adjustment between enrichment of air fuel ratio and supercharger bypass control in an engine controlling opening of a supercharger bypass flow passage by a bypass control valve, and regenerating the NOx adsorption catalyst provided in the exhaust system by enrichment of air fuel ratio. SOLUTION: When regeneration of the NOx adsorption catalyst is requested and a bypass control valve is under an opened condition, air fuel ratio is enriched and the NOx adsorption catalyst is regenerated. When the engine is operated in a predetermined NOx adsorption catalyst regeneration prohibition zone in relation of engine rotation speed and supercharging pressure, enrichment of air fuel ratio for regeneration of NOx adsorption catalyst is prohibited. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling water controller of an internal combustion engine promoting the warmup of the internal combustion engine, sufficiently recovering exhaust heat, and suppressing the boiling of cooling water. SOLUTION: This cooling water controller comprises: a cooling water passage circulating between the internal combustion engine; an exhaust heat recovery device and a heater core; a bypassing passage; a flow distribution means; and a control means. The bypass passage is connected to the cooling water passage, and bypasses the internal combustion engine. The flow distribution means distributes the flow of the cooling water between a water jacket in the internal combustion engine and the bypass passage. The control means changes the ratio of the flow of the cooling water in the water jacket inside the internal combustion engine to the flow of the cooling water in the bypass passage. The warmup of the internal combustion engine is thereby promoted, the exhaust heat in the exhaust heat recovering device is sufficiently recovered, and the boiling of the cooling water is suppressed. SOLUTION: This cooling system of an internal combustion engine circulates cooling water in a cooling water pipe conduit and inside the engine by using an electric water pump. A part of the cooling water pipe conduit is provided with a water level detecting means for detecting the water level of the cooling water. For example, the water level detecting means can be provided in a reserve tank for accumulating the cooling water. When the cooling water boils, the water level of the cooling water rapidly rises. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery device for an internal combustion engine, taking appropriate measures against an operation abnormality, by detecting the operation abnormality of a selector valve switching between heat exchange and restriction of the heat exchange in exhaust heat recovery equipment. SOLUTION: The exhaust heat recovery device for an internal combustion engine is suitably utilized for performing heat exchange between cooling water and exhaust gas by using the exhaust heat recovery equipment. Concretely, in the device, passages flowing the exhaust gas therethrough are switched by using the selector valve so as to perform switching between the heat exchange and the restriction of heat exchange in the exhaust heat recovery equipment. The operation abnormality of the flow passage selector valve is detected based on a cooling water temperature or the like so as to perform a control responding to the operation abnormality. Therefore, malfunction in operation of the internal combustion engine caused by the operation abnormality or breaking of the exhaust heat recover equipment can be effectively suppressed, while properly detecting the operation abnormality of the flow passage selector valve.
