A method and apparatus for providing mobile commerce, electronic commerce, customer care and communication services via a plurality of networks, including receiving in a roaming network from a user device, an identification number and a request for a service, forwarding from the roaming network, to a home network, the identification number, the request for the service, and adding a service provider identification number that relates to a service provider and a cost or rate of the service, if the service is to be charged, verifying, by a convergent communication platform located on the home network, that the identification number relates to a valid user account, that the user device is authorized to receive the service and that the valid user account has sufficient value to pay for the service, providing an authorization to the service provider, if the identification number relates to the valid user account, the user device is authorized to receive the service and the valid user account has sufficient value, if the service is to be charged and charging the valid user account on a real time basis, if necessary, for providing the service, if the service is to be charged.
Abstract:
A method for a messaging engine to control messaging within a virtual machine having a heap includes creating a list of destinations associated with a messaging engine and receiving parameters associated with the heap. The message production rates are controlled using the parameters and heap usage. For example, the parameters may include a lower limit that indicates that message production should be decreased (i.e., throttled back) and a step-down value. Using the lower limit and the step-down value, intermediate throttle-back thresholds are created, and when the heap usage transitions from below one of the intermediate throttle-back thresholds to above the intermediate throttle-back threshold, the message production rate is decreased. Further, other parameters may include an upper limit and a step-up value, which are used to determine intermediate throttle-up thresholds that indicate when the message production rate may be increased (i.e., throttled up).

Methods and apparatus for providing one-arm node clustering using a port channel are provided herein. An example application node may be communicatively connected to at least one application node, and the application node may be connected to a network through a port channel. The application node may include: a link included in the port channel for accommodating the network data being communicated between the remote client and server; and a processor configured to send/receive a cluster control packet to/from the at least one application node through the link included in the port channel.

Described herein are compounds, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and prodrugs thereof, which are useful as inhibitors of IMPDH. In certain embodiments, a compound of the invention selectively inhibits a parasitic IMPDH versus a host IMPDH. Further, the invention provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising one or more compounds of the invention. The invention also relates to methods of treating various parasitic and bacterial infections in mammals. Moreover, the compounds may be used alone or in combination with other therapeutic or prophylactic agents, such as anti-virals, anti-inflammatory agents, antimicrobials and immunosuppressants.

The disclosure provides systems and methods of use of an HVAC graphical interface dashboard. In various embodiments, the dashboard includes a weather tab, wherein invoking the weather tab advances to a weather screen. The dashboard also includes an indoor humidity tab. A programs tab and a home tab are also provided. The indoor humidity tab can further be used to set current indoor humidity setpoints.

A method of producing HCl from H2 and Cl2 is provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises at least one photochemical chamber placed in fluid communication with at least one source of H2 and at least one source of Cl2. In some embodiments, the photochemical chamber effects the formation of HCl through the use of at least one source of ultraviolet radiation contained therein. In some embodiments, the HCl product may be captured and used as a gas. In some embodiments, the HCl product may be absorbed into water to form an aqueous HCl solution.
