摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are provided where surgical data allometry is associated with a hierarchical level where the surgical data may be processed. A device may receive a plurality of surgical data parameters of a first surgical data individuality level and a first surgical data magnitude. The plurality of the surgical data parameters may be transformed based on the first surgical data individuality level and the first surgical data magnitude, the characteristics of the processing server where the plurality of surgical data parameters are sent for processing, and/or a rule set. The transformed plurality of surgical data parameters may be of a second surgical data individuality level and a second surgical data magnitude. The first surgical data individuality level may be different (e.g., higher) than the second surgical data individuality level. The transformed plurality of surgical data parameters may be sent for processing to a processing device.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses, including devices and systems, for remote and detection and/or diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). In particular, described herein are handheld and adhesive devices having an electrode configuration capable of recording three orthogonal ECG lead signals in an orientation-specific manner, and transmitting these signals to a processor. The processor may be remote or local, and it may automatically or semi-automatically detect AMI, atrial fibrillation or other heart disorders based on the analyses of the deviation of the recorded 3 cardiac signals with respect to previously stored baseline recordings.

摘要: Systems and methods for extracting blood glucose patterns and suggesting a behavior may include receiving, at a computing device comprising a processor, temporal data including information regarding glucose readings; identifying, by the computing device, at least one pattern based on metabolite levels extracted from the temporal data the model including variables corresponding to each of the patterns; formulating, by the computing device, a model for predicting a metabolic response; and storing the model on a data storage device. Based on the model, the behavior may be suggested to maintain a blood glucose level within a desired range.

摘要: An improved analyte monitoring system having a sensor and a transceiver with improved communication and/or user interface capabilities. The transceiver may communicate with and power the sensor. The transceiver may receive one or more analyte measurements from the sensor and may calculate one or more analyte concentrations based on the received analyte measurements. The transceiver may generate analyte concentration trends, alerts, and/or alarms based on the calculated analyte concentrations. The system may also include a display device, which may be, for example, a smartphone and may be used to display analyte measurements received from the transceiver. The display device may execute a mobile medical application. The system may include a data management system, which may be web-based.

摘要: A method includes receiving input action frequency information associated with a user providing user input via a user input device. The method further includes predicting a blood oxygen saturation level based at least in part on the received input action frequency information. The method further includes generating display information based at least in part on the predicted blood oxygen saturation level. The method further includes presenting the display information. In some cases, the display information can include i) an indication of an inference, based on the blood oxygen saturation level, that the user has sleep apnea, ii) an effectiveness score, based on the blood oxygen saturation level, of sleep therapy; iii) a recommended corrective action to improve the user's sleep quality or blood oxygen saturation level; or iv) any combination of i-iii.

摘要: A peristaltic pump, and related method, are disclosed that includes a cam shaft, a plunger-cam follower, a tube receiver, a spring, a plunger, a door, and a plunger lift lever. The cam shaft includes a plunger cam. The plunger-cam follower engages with the plunger cam of the cam shaft. The spring provides a bias and the plunger is biased toward the tube receiver by the spring. The plunger is coupled to the plunger-cam follower where expansion of the plunger cam along a radial angle intersecting the plunger-cam follower as the cam shaft rotates actuates the plunger away from the tube receiver. The door lever can be actuated between a first position and a second position. The plunger lift lever is coupled to the door lever to actuate the plunger away from the tube receiver when the door lever is actuated to the second position.

摘要: A method includes generating, by a control system, a plurality of sleep scores for a user, wherein the plurality of sleep scores for the user are associated with a plurality of days. The method also includes receiving, by the control system from an external device, a plurality of activity indicators, wherein the plurality of activity indicators are associated with the plurality of days. The method also includes determining, by the control system based on the plurality of sleep scores and the plurality of activity indicators, correlations between the sleep scores and the plurality of activity indicators. The method also includes generating, by the control system, a visual presentation, wherein the visual presentation indicates the correlations between the plurality of sleep scores and the plurality of activity indicators. The method also includes causing presentation, by the control system via a display device of a user device, the visual presentation.

摘要: A system and method for managing the contents of a medical storage container, such as a tray, that has an inventory of medical articles. A Faraday cage enclosure is used to isolate, scan, and inventory the container. The container and each of the medical articles in the container have a respective RFID tag. A processor is programmed to retrieve the inventory list for the container based on its RFID tag and compare the actual contents of the container according to their tags to the inventory list. The processor is also programmed to show the layout of the pockets of a tray and show an indicator of which pocket a particular medical article should be located.
