    摘要: The present invention aims to provide a curable composition that, while having practical curability, gives a cured product with excellent recovery, and exhibits excellent curability as well as excellent water-resistant adhesion. The curable composition includes 100 parts by weight of a reactive silyl group-containing organic polymer (A); 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a dialkyltin disilicate compound (B); and an amino silane coupling agent (C), the dialkyltin disilicate compound (B) being a tin compound containing a bulky alkyl group and a silicate moiety with a C1 or C2 alkoxy group, and the amino silane coupling agent (C) including 1 to 10 parts by weight of an amino silane coupling agent (C1) containing a trialkoxysilyl group, and less than 1 part by weight of an amino silane coupling agent (C2) containing a dialkoxysilyl or monoalkoxysilyl group.

    摘要: A non-skid coating described herein attempts to overcome the deficiencies of the conventional coatings with improved external durability and color retention, a reduced level of VOCs, and direct-to-metal (DTM) adhesion using organo-siloxane chemistry. The non-skid coating has a first component having an amino-functional siloxane resin; a second component having a non-aromatic epoxy resin; a spherical filler for lowering viscosity; a pigment; a coarse aggregate; and a thixotropic agent. The amino-functional siloxane resin can be an amino-functional methyl phenyl polysiloxane, diphenyl polysiloxane or silsesquioxane-based resin. The non-aromatic epoxy resin can be cycloaliphatic or aliphatic. The first component is about 5% to 20% weight of the coating, and the second component is about 80% to 95% weight of the coating.

    摘要: The present invention relates to polysiloxane nanoparticles having the following properties: an average particle size d50 (measured using REM recordings) in the range of 10-200 nm, a specific surface area Ao of at least 50 m2/g, a pore volume of at least 0.2 cm3/g, an average pore volume d50 of at least 0.8 nm, wherein the particles have groups that contain carbon, which groups are bonded to the silicon at least partially in the form of unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, arylalkyl, or alkylaryl groups. Said polysiloxane nanoparticles can be produced, among other things, in that either a silazane or a mixture of different silazanes having one or more —[Si(R)(R1)—NR2]— units and/or a silane or a mixture of different silanes having the formula R′x—SiX4-a or an oligosiloxane obtainable by means of hydrolytic condensation of said silane/said silanes or a mixture of such oligosiloxanes are provided in a solvent and brought in contact with a strongly alkaline medium in such a way that the pH is not below 13 after the addition thereof. In specific embodiments, synthesis in acid is also successful.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a unique solution for promoting adhesion of substrates to adhesives containing a prepolymer having isocyanate, silane or both functional groups. The solution comprises a composition comprising: a) from about 0.05 to about 10.0 parts by weight of a hydrolysate of one or more of alkoxysilyl amines; b) from about 0.05 to about 1.0 parts by weight of one of more alkoxylated alcohols, alkoxysilyl terminated alkoxylated alcohols, fatly acids or fatty acid esters; and, c) from about 80 to about 99.9 parts by weight of water: wherein the composition contains 100 parts by weight and the composition exhibits a pH of about 9 to about 12.
