Abstract: A battery includes a battery cell having a first wall provided with a pressure relief mechanism configured to be actuated when internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, a fire-fighting pipeline configured to accommodate a fire-fighting medium and discharge the fire-fighting medium when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, a first fixing member disposed on a side of the fire-fighting pipeline close to the first wall and provided with first and second limiting parts, and a second fixing member disposed on a side of the fire-fighting pipeline away from the first wall and provided with third and fourth limiting parts. The third and first limiting parts match each other to fix the fire-fighting pipeline between the first and second fixing members. The fourth and second limiting parts match each other to limit the second fixing member in an extending direction of the fire-fighting pipeline.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a rechargeable battery, including an electrode assembly and a connecting member. The electrode assembly includes an electrode assembly body and an electrode tab extending from an end surface of the electrode assembly body. The connecting member includes a guiding plate, a first connecting plate and a second connecting plate respectively connected to the guiding plate. The first connecting plate, the second connecting plate and the guiding plate extend along a width direction. The electrode tab is bent with respect to a longitudinal direction to form a bending part and the bending part of the electrode tab is connected to the first connecting plate. The width direction is to a thickness direction of the rechargeable battery.

Abstract: A battery assembly includes a protection member and a battery module including at least two batteries arranged side by side along a first direction and having a first outer surface and a second outer surface opposite to each other along a second direction. The protection member is in the form of a letter U with two vertical portions having different lengths, wherein a first protection section covers the end covers of batteries in the battery module, a part of a second protection section covers the first outer surface, and a third protection section abuts against an end cover of a battery corresponding to the second outer surface. The protection member can prevent the airflow, the flame and the like sprayed during thermal runaway, and control a thermal diffusion range during thermal runaway.

Technical solutions of embodiments of the present application could enhance performance of batteries.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a battery. The battery includes: a battery cell comprising a pressure relief mechanism, the pressure relief mechanism being arranged in a first wall of the battery cell and the pressure relief mechanism being configured, when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to be actuated to release the internal pressure; and a thermal management component for containing a fluid to adjust the temperature of the battery cell; wherein a first surface of the thermal management component is attached to the first wall, and the thermal management component is configured to be capable of being damaged when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, so that the fluid is discharged from inside of the thermal management component. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.

The connection member includes a main body, the main body is provided with a first groove opened downwardly along a top of the main body, and a part of the fixing member is located in the first groove.
