摘要: A resin composition is provided, which includes 1 part by weight of (a) thermally conductive resin with a biphenyl group, 1.0 to 10.0 parts by weight of (b) polyphenylene oxide, 0.01 to 5.0 parts by weight of (c) hardener, and 0.1 to 5.0 parts by weight of (d) inorganic filler. (d) Inorganic filler is boron nitride, aluminum nitride, silicon nitride, silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, carbon nitride, octahedral carbon, or a combination thereof with a surface modified by iron-containing oxide. (d) Inorganic filler is sheet-shaped or needle-shaped.

摘要: An object is to provide a (meth)acrylamide based urethane oligomer which has excellent compatibility with organic solvents and general purpose acrylic monomers and oligomers, a high curing property with an active energy ray, and a low curing shrinkage property, and to provide an active energy ray curable resin composition containing the same which has an excellent adhesion property, moisture resistance, surface curing property, and also a low curing shrinkage property, and a molded article of the same. By using a (meth)acrylamide based urethane oligomer characterized by having a (meth)acrylamide group at the end or in side chain thereof and a cure shrinkage rate of 5% or less, it is possible to prepare a urethane oligomer having high curing property and excellent compatibility with organic solvents and general purpose acrylic monomers and oligomers, and an active energy ray curable resin composition containing the same and having excellent adhesion property can be prepared.

摘要: Quinacridone pigments that are surface-functionalized with glycidyl methacrylate, maleic anhydride, or 4-methacryloxyethyl trimellitic anhydride to create a functionalized pigment. The functional groups are then activated to bond hydrophobic polymers, thereby coating the pigment with the hydrophobic polymers. The quinacridone pigments can be used for a variety of applications. They are well-suited for use in electro-optic materials, such as electrophoretic media for use in electrophoretic displays.

摘要: An anode includes a thin film of an anode material; and a protective layer that is formed on the thin film of the anode material, that is composed of functionalized metal oxide nanoparticles, which are lithium-terminated sulfonated metal oxide nanoparticles, and that has a thickness of 300-5000 nm. A method for manufacturing the anode includes dispersing the functionalized metal oxide nanoparticles into a dispersion medium to form a dispersion; dipping a substrate into water, and introducing the dispersion thereto so that the functionalized metal oxide nanoparticles form a self-assembled molecular film on the water surface; lifting the substrate over the water surface to transfer the self-assembled molecular film onto the substrate, thereby providing a substrate coated with a functionalized metal oxide film; and transferring the functionalized metal oxide film onto the thin film of the anode material to provide an anode coated with the functionalized metal oxide film.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a monomer mixture that is cured rapidly even in the presence of oxygen and that forms a cured product having high hardness and excellent adhesion to metals and/or glass. The monomer mixture according to an embodiment of the present invention contains two or more types of cationically polymerizable monomers. As the cationically polymerizable monomers, the monomer mixture contains at least 10 wt. %, based on a total amount of the monomer mixture, of a compound having at least one cationically polymerizable group selected from the group consisting of a vinyl ether group, an epoxy group, and an oxetanyl group, and at least one hydroxy group in a molecule, and at least 5 wt. %, based on the total amount of the monomer mixture, of a compound represented by Formula (b). In the formula, R represents an s-valent straight-chain or branched saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group or an s-valent group having two or more straight-chain or branched saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups bonded to each other through an ether bond, and s represents an integer of 2 or greater.

摘要: Novel stress-reducing crosslinking oligomers that have application in dental restoratives, thin films, hardcoats, composites, adhesives, and other uses subject to stress reduction are described. The addition-fragmentation process of crosslinking results in a chain-transfer event that provides novel polymers that may be further functionalized. In addition, the addition-fragmentation oligomer comprises pendent functional groups that bond to a substrate by forming an ionic or covalent bond, or etch the substrate by chemically removing some material from the substrate.
