Abstract: Several embodiments disclosed herein relate to apparatus, methods, and systems for treating a diverticulum. In some examples, disclosed is a clip for treating diverticulum. The clip can include a plurality of petals, points, and keys. Each of petals can include a curved portion, a first arm, and a second arm. A portion of the first arm of each petal can be flexibly interconnected to a portion of the second arm of another petal. The points can be formed by an end of the first arm of one of the petals and an end of the second arm of another of the petals. The petals can form a circular configuration. The keys can be attached to the curved portion of each of the petals and each of the keys can interact with a delivery device for maintaining the clip on the delivery device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for concurrent wireless power transfer and data transmission are provided. A constraint encoder receives data bits for communication to a mobile device and encodes the data bits onto a transmit signal. The constraint encoder specifies signal constraints that cause the transmit signal to have a peak-to-power-average ratio (PAPR) during a given time interval sufficient to provide wireless power transfer to the mobile device. The system also includes a signal generator coupled to the constraint encoder. The signal generator generates the transmit signal according to the signal constraints. The system further includes a transmitter coil that is coupled to the signal generator. The transmitter coil is configured to transmit the transmit signal that has been encoded with the data bits to receiver coils of the mobile device. The encoded transmit signal is able to provide wireless power transfer and the encoded data bits to the mobile device.

Abstract: Technologies related to tumid implants and pumps are generally described. In some examples, a tumid implant device may comprise an enclosed sack membrane adapted to fit between bones in a joint. Articulation of the joint may cause a first layer of the membrane to move through a first boundary section into a second layer of the membrane, while the second layer moves through a second boundary section into the first layer. A working fluid may be disposed inside the sack membrane, and a reservoir may optionally be coupled to the membrane via a gate. The working fluid may be expelled from the sack membrane into the reservoir, and may re-enter the sack membrane from the reservoir in response to changes in pressure in the joint. The working fluid may be conducted into the reservoir or sack membrane by a pump, and several artery pump designs are disclosed.

Abstract: Exfoliation of graphene from graphite using multilayer coextrusion is generally disclosed. In some example embodiments, graphite may be dispersed within a first processing material, and the first processing material and a second processing material may be co-extruded through a plurality of series coupled layer multiplication dies to exfoliate graphene from the graphite. The graphene may be separated from the resulting multi-layered material. In some example embodiments, graphite flake and/or expanded graphite may be dispersed within the first processing material.

Abstract: Technologies are generally described to store data in a storage device that includes an array of analog memory cells. Example storage devices described herein may include one or more of an interface, and/or a processor coupled to the interface. The processor may be configured to store, via the interface, data as first analog values in a first group of memory cells in the array. Second analog values may be read, via the interface, from the first group of memory cells in which the data were stored. A first distortion representative of a difference between the first analog values and the second analog values may be then verified. Further, the second analog values may be encoded by use of an error correction code (ECC) to generate third analog values. The third analog values may be stored, via the interface, in a second group of memory cells in the array.

Abstract: Technologies are generally described for discerning patterns in the “goodness” or “badness” of time-frequency slots to allow predictive allocation of spectral resources that may be appropriate for a wireless user. According to some examples, information on device location, time slots, sub-carrier(s) allotted for each time slot, and quality indicators may be received from mobile devices. The time slots may be grouped by location to form analysis intervals. A time-frequency vector may then be identified for each analysis interval and a unit of geographic grid. A “goodness” indicator may be computed for each time-frequency vector. Clusters of time-frequency vectors may be categorized for each analysis interval and associated unit of geographic grid such that mobile devices can be assigned “good” clusters through sub-carrier allocation.
