摘要: A process for forming a moldable, uncured nonwoven composite containing forming a outermost nonwoven layer, forming a structural nonwoven layer, needling the structural nonwoven layer and the outermost nonwoven layer together from both the outer surface of the outermost nonwoven layer and the second surface of the structural nonwoven layer, applying an uncured, water-based thermosetting resin having a cure temperature of at least about 160° C. to the second surface of the structural nonwoven layer, and at least partially drying the uncured, wet nonwoven composite. Heat and pressure may be applied to form the moldable, uncured composite. A moldable, uncured nonwoven composite and a molded, cured nonwoven composite are also disclosed.

摘要: A method for forming a textile article includes the steps of providing at least one shaping yarn and at least one basic yarn; processing the shaping yarn and the basic yarn to form a primitive textile structure; fitting the primitive textile structure to a shaping mold; applying high temperature to heat the primitive textile structure so as to have the shaping yarn included in the primitive textile structure heated and molten to form a shaping film covering the basic yarn; applying a low temperature to solidify the shaping film that covers the basic yarn so as to fix a shape of the primitive textile structure to form a shaped textile structure; and removing the shaped textile structure of which the shape is fixed from the shaping mold.

摘要: A system and method for forming an item from a material, which may include elongated fibers and/or stretched broken fibers. The material is placed on a first clamping portion, which is placed on a fixture. A second clamping portion is placed against the material and the first clamping portion and secured together, forming a clamping assembly. The clamping assembly is removed from the fixture and placed on a first die portion, having a first profile. A second die portion is also provided, having a second profile. In forming the item, at least one of the first die portion and the second die portion are moved toward each other such that a second surface of the first die portion and a first surface of the second die portion contact and form the material into the item generally replicating the first profile and the second profile.

摘要: Bone tissue biomimetic materials, biomimetic constructs that can be formed with the materials, and methods for forming the materials and constructs are described. The bone tissue biomimetic materials include electrospun nanofibers formed of polymers that are conjugated with peptides that include acidic amino acid residues. The materials can incorporate high levels of mineralization so as to provide mechanical strength and promote osteogenesis and/or osteoconductivity on/in the bone tissue biomimetic materials. The materials and constructs can be utilized in forming tissue engineered structures for in vitro and in vivo use. Macroscopic bone tissue biomimetic scaffolds formed from the materials can be seeded with osteogenic cells and utilized to develop bone graft materials that can exhibit strength and osteoconductivity similar to the native bone and that exhibit uniform distribution of nutrients in the scaffolds.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of producing a multilayer component comprising the following steps: providing a mat-like multilayer structure which comprises at least two outer layers and a core layer, the core layer being arranged between the two outer layers, the core layer comprising a fiber tangle, which contains a binder material and a reinforcing fiber material, a melting point of the binder material being lower than a melting point of the reinforcing fiber material, placing the multilayer structure in a press, heating the multilayer structure in the press with exposure to pressure, such that the binder material melts, while the reinforcing fiber material retains its fiber structure, resulting in formation of a semi-finished product, lofting the semi-finished product, processing the semi-finished product to yield the multilayer component and cooling the component.

摘要: Organic fibers and inorganic fibers, used as materials, are mixed, thereby forming a web 18. Inter-fiber bonding is then performed on the web, forming a non-woven fabric web. The non-woven fabric web is cut, providing a web piece 18a shaped like a seat pad 30. The web piece is set in a metal mold and then compressed in the metal mold. Next, the metal mold is heated, thereby heating the organic fibers of the web piece, at surface, thereby welding the organic fibers together and molding a seat pad. The seat pad is covered with a trim cover, producing a cushion. The organic fibers are used in mixing ratio of 50% by weight or more, and the inorganic fibers are used in mixing ratio of 50% by weight or less. The organic fibers are made of simple high-molecular substance such as polyethylene fibers.

摘要: A method for processing a compensation layer, used in a vehicle interior, to increase a pressure resistance of the compensation layer. The method includes providing an unprocessed compensation layer. The compensation layer includes a first layer formed of fiber stitches, a second layer formed of fiber stitches, and a plurality of pile fiber bundles, each formed of pile fibers, connecting the first and second layers. The method further includes displacing the first and second layers substantially translatorily towards one another to thereby deform the pile fiber bundles into a deformed state, such that a distance between the first and second layers is reduced. The method also includes fixing the pile fiber bundles in the deformed state, such that the pressure resistance of the compensation layer in the deformed state is greater than the pressure resistance of the unprocessed compensation layer.
