    摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle having an auxiliary force brake device wherein the auxiliary force is generated by coupling the brake actuation to the manifold pressure of the engine. In the method, the engine is operated with increased manifold pressure during the warm-up phase after a cold start. In the method, an actuation of the brake effects limiting the manifold pressure to a maximum value by intervening in the engine control. This maximum value is less than the value which would otherwise adjust under the same conditions without brake actuation.

    摘要: The electronic counter for counting a periodic clock signal generated at a preset clock frequency (f.sub.o) includes a clock circuit generating the periodic clock signal at the preset clock frequency (f.sub.o); an adjustable frequency divider (4) having an output (8), a first input (5) and a second input (7), the first input of the frequency divider (4) being connected to the clock circuit (6) so as to receive the periodic clock signal and the second input (7) of the frequency divider being connected to receive a cycle speed signal (n), the frequency divider (4) containing means to produce a pulsed output signal at a divider output frequency (c.sub.o); a tracking circuit (T) connected to the output (8) of the frequency divider (4) to receive the pulsed output signal at the divider output frequency (c.sub.o) and having a correction signal input for receiving a positive or negative correction signal (KS), the tracking circuit (T) acting to add a number of additional pulses to the pulsed output signal received thereby when the correcting signal is positive and suppressing a number of the pulses of the pulsed output signal from the frequency divider when the correcting signal is negative; and a counting circuit (14) having an output and connected to the tracking circuit (T) to count the pulses received from the tracking circuit and to generate a counter reading (z.sub.s). The divider output frequency (c.sub.o) is substantially equal to the clock frequency (f.sub.o) divided by a factor (T) equal to a constant (K) depending on the frequency divider (4) and the cycle speed signal (n).

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for operating an internal combustion engine, which can be operated with fuels and fuel mixtures of said fuels, said fuels differing from each other in the air quantity they require for a stoichiometric combustion. A fuel quantity to be supplied to the internal combustion engine is corrected via a mixture adaptation and a fuel adaptation, the mixture adaptation and the fuel adaptation being based on a lambda control and a fuel quantity contained in the fuel reservoir of the internal combustion engine prior to refueling and a fuel quantity supplied to the reservoir being determined. The method is characterized by using the change of the fuel adaptation after refueling towards a fuel/air mixture having a higher or a lower fuel percentage to extrapolate the supplied fuel or the supplied fuel mixture and the fuel quantity present in the reservoir and the knowledge of the nature of the fuel or the fuel mixture supplied to the reservoir are used to calculate the fuel mixture ration in the reservoir after refueling. The method according to the invention allows determination of the fuel mixture ratio in the reservoir of internal combustion engines which can be operated with different fuels.

    摘要: A method of diagnosing a fuel tank leak in a fuel tank ventilation system, comprising a fuel tank, an accumulator for fuel vapors and a fuel tank ventilation valve opening out into an intake manifold of an internal combustion engine, wherein the fuel tank, the accumulator and the fuel tank ventilation valve are connected by way of a system of lines and wherein the accumulator has an aeration line with a check valve, the method comprising: immediately before turning off the internal combustion engine, closing the check valve and opening the fuel tank ventilation valve to generate a vacuum in the fuel tank ventilation system; acquiring a vacuum degradation at specifiable points in time when the fuel tank ventilation valve is closed; opening of the check valve in order to bring about a pressure equilibrium with the ambient pressure; renewed closing of the check valve; acquiring a pressure increase emerging over at least a specifiable time interval and determination of a compensation variable; and inference about the presence of a leakage from behavior of the vacuum degradation over time, while taking into account behavior of the compensation variable over time.
