    摘要： A filter device for separating solid material from a liquid includes a filter housing with vertically extending removable sidewalls wherein at the location of the removable sidewalls connections are provided to receive two vertically extending sidewalls in spaced parallel relationship whereby a fluid impermeable sidewall may be inserted into the circumferential section of the housing when the liquid permeable section is removed for cleaning without interfering with the continual operation of the filter device. Moreover, the filter device of the present invention may be a first filter or pre-filter in a multi-stage filter system wherein a second filtering device is received within the first filter, the second filtering device includes a plurality of first tubular filters having an open bottom end and a closed top end and a second tubular filter centrally disposed of the first tubular filters in flow communication therewith. The second tubular filter has a closed bottom end and an outlet top end in flow communication with a discharge from the filter system.

    摘要： A device filters impurities such as iron oxides contained in a water supply. The device includes a container having an open top end, a filter assembly housed in the container and a lid member closed over the open top end of the container. The container is partitioned into an intake chamber, a discharge chamber and an overflow passage. The lid member includes an adjusting member in contact with the filter assembly to adjust and maintain the filter assembly at a correct position within the container. The filter assembly also includes a handle member to enable a user to remove and reinsert the filter assembly from and into the container, respectively.

    摘要： A pulper for pulping a fiber suspension includes a vessel, an extraction plate assembly and a rotor. The extraction plate assembly is disposed within the vessel and includes a metal plate with a plurality of holes extending therethrough. A plurality of metal inserts are respectively disposed within the holes and project from the plate. Each insert is removably attached to the plate. A rotor is disposed within the vessel adjacent to the extraction plate assembly. The inserts are removably attached to the plate by brazing the inserts within the holes, or slightly shrinking the inserts using liquid nitrogen and placing the inserts in the holes.
