摘要: An integrating optical system having a chamber, the chamber having an aperture and at least one portion having a diffuse reflective material; a light source; and a diffuse transmissive baffle. The baffle is located in relation to the chamber such that it is also located in an optical path between the light source and a treatable target. A light-ray originating from the light source is diffusely transmitted from the diffuse transmissive baffle and impinges on an interior surface of the chamber before impinging on the treatable target.

摘要: An apparatus for optically inspecting an at least partially reflecting surface of an object includes first and second transverse carriers (12, 14) defining respective substantially circular segment-shaped cutouts (32). The transverse carriers (12, 14) are disposed at a longitudinal distance (D) from one another and the longitudinal distance (D) defines a longitudinal direction (17). A plurality of longitudinal members are configured to hold the first and second transverse carriers at the longitudinal distance (D). The longitudinal members are arranged at a defined radial distance to the circular segment-shaped cutouts. A translucent diffusing screen is held in the circular segment-shaped cutouts by the transverse carriers to form a tunnel-shaped inspection space. A multiplicity of light sources are arranged outside of the tunnel-shaped inspection space behind the diffusing screen. The light sources are configured to be controlled individually or in small groups to generate variable light-dark patterns on the diffusing screen. A workpiece receptacle is configured for accommodating the object in the tunnel-shaped inspection space. At least one camera is directed into the tunnel-shaped inspection space. An evaluation and control unit is configured to control the light sources and the camera to generate various light-dark patterns on the diffusing screen and to record and evaluate a plurality of images of the object in dependence on the light-dark patterns.

摘要: The device for the microbiological analysis of a support adapted to contain microorganisms marked by a fluorophore agent, said agent being adapted to absorb light energy with an absorption spectrum (53) having a crest (53′) at a predetermined absorption wavelength (λ2) and to release that energy by emitting light with an emission spectrum (54) having a crest (54′) at a predetermined emission wavelength (λ3) distinct from said absorption wavelength (λ2), comprises illuminating means; the spectrum (55) of the excitation light coming from the illuminating means having a crest (55′) at a predetermined excitation wavelength (λ1) with a predetermined difference between the excitation (λ1) and absorption (λ2) wavelengths by virtue of which it is made easy to discriminate the light emitted by said fluorophore agent from that coming from the illuminating means.

摘要: A double-light cabinet for testing a biological sample labeled with fluorochrome includes a case, in which a light unit and a diffusion unit are received. The light unit has two spot light sources to emit spot lights with specified wavelengths according to the test, and the diffusion unit diffuses the spot lights into surface lights, to which that the biological sample is exposed. The present invention further includes an amber filter unit to filter the surface light to enhance the signal of biological samples. Using the lights with specified wavelengths, the present invention may serve both functions of excitation and illumination of the biological sample.

摘要: A method is disclosed for inspecting a mold which has a porous alumina layer over its surface. The method includes providing, based on a relationship between a first parameter indicative of a thickness of the porous alumina layer and a color parameter indicative of a color of reflected light from the porous alumina layer, first color information which represents a tolerance of the first parameter of a porous alumina layer which has an uneven structure that is within a tolerance; providing a mold which is an inspection subject, the mold having a porous alumina layer over its surface; obtaining a color parameter which is indicative of a color of reflected light from the porous alumina layer of the inspection subject mold; and determining a suitability of the first parameter of the inspection subject mold based on the obtained color parameter and the first color information.

摘要: A surface inspection apparatus for observing an edge portion of an object to be inspected includes an illumination device that irradiates an illumination light to the edge portion; and an observation device that forms an image of an observation region of the edge portion illuminated with the illumination light. The illumination device emits a first irradiation beam and a second irradiation beam as the illumination light. The first irradiation beam is incident at approximately right angles to the edge portion for compensating brightness of the image and the second irradiation beam is obliquely incident laterally to the observation region of the edge portion for generating a shadow depending on a surface state of the observation region.

摘要: A system and method for automatically detecting cracks in components produced by a stamping process. A substantially uniform backlighting of the component can be produced, even when direct backlighting is partially blocked by structure used to support the component during inspection. One or more image detectors simultaneously image the component from a top side while it is backlit. One or more images of the current component are then compared to a master image of the component. Light passing through or visible through cracks in the component will cause the system to see a difference between the current image(s) of the component and the master image(s), thereby indicating a crack(s). A user is automatically notified upon detection of a crack.
