摘要: Catalysts having a blend of platinum on a support with low ammonia storage with a Cu-SCR catalyst or an Fe-SCR catalyst are disclosed. The catalysts can also contain one or two additional SCR catalysts. The catalysts can be present in one of various configurations. Catalytic articles containing these catalysts are disclosed. The catalytic articles are useful for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx in exhaust gases and in reducing the amount of ammonia slip. Methods for producing such articles are described. Methods of using the catalytic articles in an SCR process, where the amount of ammonia slip is reduced, are also described.

摘要: A catalyst article including a substrate with an inlet side and an outlet side, a first zone and a second zone, where the first zone includes a passive NOx adsorber (PNA), and an ammonia slip catalyst (ASC) comprising a platinum group metal on a support and a first SCR catalyst; where the second zone includes a catalyst selected from the group consisting of a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and a diesel exotherm catalyst (DEC); and where the first zone is located upstream of the second zone. The first zone may include a bottom layer with a blend of: (1) the platinum group metal on a support and (2) the first SCR catalyst; and a top layer with a second SCR catalyst, the top layer located over the bottom layer.

The platinum may be fixed on the support in solution.

摘要: JMZ-5, an aluminosilicate having an SZR framework type and a sea-urchin type morphology is described. A calcined product, JMZ-5C, formed from JMZ-5 is also described. JMZ-6, an aluminosilicate having an SZR framework type and a needle, aggregate morphology is described. A calcined product, JMZ-6C, formed from JMZ-6 is also described. Methods of preparing these zeolites and their metal-containing calcined counterparts are described along with methods of using these zeolites and their metal containing calcined counterparts in treating exhaust gases.
