    摘要: According to one embodiment, a semiconductor light emitting device includes a substrate, a first electrode, a first conductivity type layer, a light emitting layer, a second conductivity type layer and a second electrode. The first conductivity type layer includes a first contact layer, a window layer having a lower impurity concentration than the first contact layer and a first cladding layer. The second conductivity type layer includes a second cladding layer, a current spreading layer and a second contact layer. The second electrode includes a narrow-line region on the second contact layer and a pad region electrically connected to the narrow-line region. Band gap energies of the first contact and window layers are larger than that of the light emitting layer. The first contact layer is provided selectively between the window layer and the first electrode and without overlapping the second contact layer as viewed from above.

    摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a surface-treated copper foil capable of consistently attaining a percent loss of peel strength in resistance against hydrochloric acid degradation of 10% or less as measured on a copper pattern prepared from the copper foil and having a line width of 0.2 mm, by bringing out the maximum effect of the silane coupling agent employed in brass-plated anti-corrosive copper foil.     摘要: A new reversible heat sensitive recording composition for erasable recording is disclosed which is used as a recording or marking material that is capable of erasure at a specific temperature so that coloring or decoloring can be controlled to occur at desired temperature ranges. This range or the hysteresis value of the composition is determined by the .DELTA.T value of the contained ester compound. In addition, the composition can provide a wide variety of hues and can readily be prepared. The marking or recording drawn in this composition can be maintained at room temperature or less.

    摘要: A drying oil such as isomerized linseed oil, dehydrated castor oil or the like oil which has an iodine value of more than 140 and a content of conjugated double bonds of less than 50% is reacted with isopropenylphenol and/or oligomers thereof in an amount, by weight, of 0.1-2 times as great as that of the drying oil in the presence of a small amount of an acid at a temperature of 65-150.degree. C. for 0.5-3 hours. By the reaction, isopropenylphenol and/or its oligomers are introduced to the drying oil while leaving the double bonds of the oil as they are without disappearance. The thus introduced oil is further reacted with a phenol or phenols under strongly acidic conditions to introduce the phenols thereto. The drying oil which has been introduced with the isopropenylphenol and/or its oligomers and also with the phenols is mixed with a phenol or phenols and then reacted with formaldehyde to give a modified phenolic resin. This phenolic resin is useful for making a phenolic laminate with improved flexibility, punching quality and water proof.
