The present invention relates to a low-volatile organic compound (VOC) natural fiber composite material, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. In the method, a nanoclay and a resin are blend-spun to prepare modified synthetic fibers, the modified synthetic fibers are mixed with natural fibers or with natural fibers and other fibers to prepare mixed fibers, and the mixed fibers are shredded, mixed, lapped, needle punched or hot pressed, so as to prepare the low-VOC natural fiber composite material. The low-VOC natural fiber composite material can be applied to automobile interior trims after hot pressing. The low-VOC natural fiber composite material has features of low VOC, low density, light weight, low cost, high strength, good toughness, high deformability, high safety, and being environmentally-friendly and recyclable.

A first liner of moisture transfer fabrics abuts a second layer of structural material such as open-cell foam. The second layer can abut a breathable membrane and/or an insulating material. The present invention provides a laminiferous nonwoven fabric with a high woodpulp content suitable for use in wipes, absorbent articles and other applications, and a method of making the same. The laminiferous nonwoven comprises 3 layers bonded together, where the outer layers are lightweight meltspun webs and the middle layer comprises mainly woodpulp fibers. Each of the first (3), second (2) and third (4) nonwoven layer are preferably first formed separately and individually to be self-supported webs, whereafter the three self-supported webs are brought together essentially immediately before bonding them together. When used as a substrate for wet wipes, the inventive fabric exhibits a combination of several useful properties; good wet and dry softness and bulk, good wet abrasion resistance and low wet linting propensity, and where the majority raw material is woodpulp.

The process can include collecting different categories of waste cotton material from a variety of textile formation processes. The process can also include selecting specific categories of waste cotton material to be blended together depending on the textile product to be produced. In the process, sequence of cleaning, opening and blending processing steps can be selected to be used in making a yarn depending on the textile product to be produced. The selected specific categories of waste cotton material can be cleaned, opened and blended into blended cotton fibers. The blended cotton fibers can then be processed into the textile product to be produced. Thus, a textile product can be provided that includes yarn that can have at least three different categories of waste cotton material that are from textile formation processes.

The nonwoven fabric includes 20 to 80% by weight of a polyester fiber having an oblate multilobal cross section and 20 to 80% by weight of a cellulose fiber, and the polyester fiber has an oblate multilobal cross section with an oblate cross section having at least six lobes on its periphery. The polyester fiber has predetermined degree of oblateness and degree of irregularity.

The invention relates to a wet wipe product comprising a substrate and an emulsion. The wet wipe is sized and configured to enable a user to effectively cleanse an infant's entire body with a single wipe. The wipes are preferably made from nonwoven fabrics. The emulsion is particularly formulated to provide a mild cleansing with little or no irritation or drying to an infant's skin, hair or eyes.
