    摘要: In a resistance film type touch panel (8), an upper electrode sheet (1) having upper electrodes (111) on one face of a flexible transparent film (9) and a hard coat layer (12) on the other face of the film, and a lower electrode sheet (2) having lower electrodes (121) confronting the upper electrodes on one face of a glass substrate (10) are arranged to face each other over a distance maintained by spacers (13) between the upper electrodes and the lower electrodes. Respective peripheries of the upper electrodes and the lower electrodes confronting the upper electrodes are bonded by an adhesive layer (3), with the transparent film and the hard coat layer being fused at respective end parts thereby constituting a compressive stress layer (10a) at a surface layer part of each side end face of the glass substrate.

    摘要: A membrane switch (10) having a top membrane (12) with a lower conductive surface (16), a bottom membrane (14) with an upper conductive surface (18), and a dielectric intermediate circuit spacer (20) disposed therebetween. The intermediate circuit spacer includes a central aperture (24) and defines upper and lower surfaces (28 and 32). First y-axis electrodes (26) are formed on the upper surface of the intermediate circuit spacer, and second x-axis (30) electrodes are formed on the lower surface of the intermediate circuit spacer. Conductive adhesive (58, 64) is applied between the intermediate circuit spacer and the top and bottom membranes to secure the intermediate spacer in place with the x- and y-axis electrodes in electrical contact with the top and bottom membranes, respectively.

    摘要: An input device for use in a display unit such as a CRT includes a lower electrode of an electrically conductive material and having a plurality of apertures therein, a resilient insulating base superimposed on the lower electrode and having a plurality of integral dot spacers projecting through the apertures, the resilient insulating base having recessed spaces, an upper flexible insulating sheet disposed in confronting relation to the insulating base with the dot spacers interposed therebetween, the upper flexible insulating sheet supporting an upper electrode on one surface thereof, a printed-circuit board disposed below the insulating base, and a plurality of diodes mounted on the printed-circuit board and accommodated in the spaces, the printed-circuit board having an electrically conductive pattern disposed on a lower surface thereof and connected to the diodes. The upper insulating sheet has extensions extending around sides of the insulating base and the printed-circuit board onto the lower surface of the latter, the upper electrode having terminal leads extending over the extensions and connected by a heat seal to the electrically conductive pattern.
