摘要: Apparatus for measuring and analyzing the swing of a baseball player. The apparatus includes devices for emitting a plurality of spaced light beams projected in directions to be intersected by the swing plane of a bat and a corresponding plurality of light receiving elements arranged to receive light beams reflected from the bat. Signals received by the light receiving elements are collected and supplied to a processing apparatus and the results of this processing are displayed on a display unit which provides indication of angle, speed, level, etc. of the swing. The information may also be provided to a printer. The apparatus indicates whether the swing is performed normally and if it deviates from normal indicates the error involved.

摘要: A microwave oven cooking apparatus including a magnetic card reader from which control data may be read to control cooking operations. Data may first be input by the operator from a keyboard control panel. This data is stored in a first memory. Upon completion of the cooking operation, if successful, the operator depresses a control transferring the data stored in the first memory to a second memory from which it is read onto and stored on a magnetic card. The magnetic card can be then reinserted into the card reader for later input of the same cooking operational data.

摘要: A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an episulfide compound efficiently from an epoxy compound with no need of a measure against odor or corrosion, or a neutralization step. The present invention solved the above-described problem by a method for producing an episulfide compound in which an epoxy compound and a thiourea are reacted with each other in the presence of an ammonium compound.

摘要: The present invention has an object of providing, for example, a composition for optical materials which contains a polythiol that can be predicted and assessed, in a stage prior to polymerization/curing, as being clouded or not clouded after polymerization/curing, and thus can be determined as being good or defective. According to the present invention, the above-described object is achieved by, for example, a composition for optical materials which comprises a polythiol that exhibits an initial turbidity of 0.5 ppm or less and a turbidity of 0.6 ppm or less after the storage at 50° C. for 7 days, and an episulfide. Namely, an optical material made from a composition for optical materials which contains a polythiol satisfying the above turbidity requirements can be prevented from clouding to exhibit excellent transparency.
